For our first review of the LEGO Pokemon display sets, we check out Munchlax (72150). It has 757 pieces and retails for $69.99.

There are basically two parts to the set, Munchlax itself and the tree stump that it sits on. You build the stump first and it’s pretty straight-forward. While you’re building the trunk, there is a hidden Easter egg inside. Before covering the top of the stump, there are some tiles that spell out 446 which is Munchlax’s Pokedex number.

On the ground next to the stump, there are various flowers and mushrooms spread all around. There’s even one apple sitting on a hinge on one of the sides and some apple cores as additional accessories.

For Munchlax itself, it’s built like a BrickHeadz as you start with the body and build outwards. The arms are on ball joints but the range of movement is actually not a lot. The head can turn a full 360 degrees and its eyes and teeth are printed on a slope piece. There isn’t a spot to secure it on the stump as it just sits on top.

Results
The LEGO Munchlax (72150) is the smallest of the display sets and it did come out really nice. It is on the pricier side at $70 but the size of it doesn’t scream $70.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
