When the list of rumored LEGO 2017 sets came out last month, one theme that was missing for the initial wave was LEGO Speed Champions. A few days after that, the rumored sets for Speed Champion was indeed released which you can see below.

As you can see, there’s a new car manufacturer with Bugatti and the Chiron should be interesting to see. Technically, Bugatti isn’t a new license as Volkwagen now owns it. Some existing manufacturers are also returning for 2017 with Mercedes, Ferrari, and Ford. Huge fan of Mercedes, so this will probably be the most exciting wave of Speed Champions for me so far. Also excited to see a Bugatti in the mix, and anxious to see how the Ford GT and Ferrari FXX turn out in brick form.
I’m buying them all because I buy everything in this theme because I’m obsessed with cars haha. It’ll be good to have the sf16-h in what I assume will be the lowest price point so that people can he a nice Ferrari F1 car without the $100 price tag. I figured those Ford GTs were coming too since they tweeted pics of models around Le Mans I think.
Good that I haven’t picked up the la Ferrari. Fxxk always wins.

Are they going to be released in the winter this time? The last two waves were released in march were’nt they?
Winter means January. It’s weird how they phrase it.
Oh, man they’re actually doing the 2016 GT?! I might have to look into getting whatever set that’s in, assuming it’s one of the smaller of the multi-car sets, based on it being listed second, just after the pit stop.
