LEGO Star Wars Collectible Posters Release Schedule

For those who have been wondering when LEGO will be releasing the free collectible LEGO Star Wars posters, they have announced the dates that each one will be available. For Episode IV: A New Hope, it is currently available during the May the 4th weekend until Monday, May 4 with any LEGO Star Wars purchase. For the rest of the posters up until October, you will only have a week to get each one.

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back – June 22-28
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi – July 20-26
Episode I: The Phantom Menace – August 24-30
Episode II: Attack of the Clones – September 21-27
Episode III: Revenge of the Sith – October 26-November 1

Each of the posters will be added automatically to your shopping cart with qualifying purchases. They will also be available at LEGO Stores as well. The only downside of the posters is that they already come folded up so you won’t have any pristine ones unless you managed to get them during Star Wars Celebration last month.

I was hoping they wouldn’t be folded, but seeing as they are, I’m glad I got a set off of Ebay. I also saved a lot of money that way too, because I got them for $46, and I would have had to pay about $25 each, minimum, including gas, in order to get them from my local Lego store. I suppose I could have gotten them with online orders, but that’s still about $10 minimum, which means I still saved money, on top of not having to deal with them being folded.

at the very least they should have made them available in store unfolded. though in a tube with larger orders from S@H would have been nice too. if you want them look on ebay, they are going pretty cheap considering you will not be able to find them unfolded anywhere else (at least for now).

I was also disappointed that they were folded. They are not that big that could have been available flat.
