I like the tie striker, and the droid looks like a popbot… I quite like it!
My thoughts:
Buildable Figures: Eh. I don’t really like the Bionacle style of building, but K-2SO and the Death Trooper both look pretty cool! I guess it’s the black.
Imperial Hovertank: As someone else said on a different post, it looks kinda like an Imperial Street Sweeper. I still like this set though, and will probably get it.
AT-ST: It’s an AT-ST with cool minifigures. I own the AT-ST from 2007, but as that one is outdated, I am keen on getting this set.
Tie Striker: $70 AGAIN?! We just went through this with the First Order Tie Fighter! I guess the plates are expensive to make though. I do like the design of this new TIE vehicle, and if I can find a decent sale, will pick it up.
U-Wing: It looks like that one ship from Buck Rogers. I don’t really like it’s design, and I’m guessing we’ll get remakes of this set in a few years, much like Kylo Ren’s Shuttle. I’m not really interested in getting this set.
Krennic’s Shuttle: My first thought was, “A Pyramid with wings! Cool!” My second thought was “Cool minifigures! Cool!” My third thought was “A perfect replacement for Kylo Ren’s Shuttle! Cool!”
I overall like these sets. I’m guessing we’ll see at least 2 more RO sets next year, with at least one featuring Darth Vader. Also note that Saw Gerrera is not in any of these sets.
The Rebel U-Wing Fighter is $79.99, not $69.99
