LEGO has recently updated the Adults Welcome section of the LEGO Shop with a teaser of a new LEGO Batman set coming soon. In the image, we can see a Batmobile covered up with the Batman Returns logo at the top. The caption below it reads:
The shadows grow darker in Gotham City as a new Batman set emerges from the depths. But even heroes have their doubts… Alright, now I’m a little worried.
The last sentence directly references a scene from Batman Returns where Batman is chased by the police after he was framed of pushing the Ice Princess off the legde of a building. After a short chase, we come to some buildings will a narrow space and the Batmobile sheds some armor to become the Batmissile. We can assume that the new set will be this version of the Batmobile with the transforming Batmissile.
