There are limited quantities of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) are now back in stock on Shop@Home. There’s no more of the Black VIP Card but at least you’ll be able to get the Falcon.

Has anyone actually seen it as back in stock? It’s still been “coming soon” since the e-mail arrived.
Thanks, just submitted my order!
They should extend the VIP card situation for another month or so due to limited supply of the Falcon.
Why? I mean, I get why the people trying to get a VIP Black card would want this, even if it’s still no guarantee they’ll be able to land one, but from the company’s perspective they probably expected what they sold on launch day to last until the end of the year. It was definitely supposed to cover the wide launch in October with plenty to spare. Every shipment since then has simply added to the number of VIP Black cards they’ve had to add to the pile, which has to be way over their projected number when they came up with this idea. So why would they want to add even more to that when they can just stick to the schedule and move on to the backlog of cards they still have to print and ship?
Well, not surprised, but it’s nowhere to be found. At least the silly out of stock message has changed, I guess.
Still not sure what’s so hard about just accepting backorders…
They probably will once the deadline for the VIP Black card has passed, but until then it’s just going to result in them having to commit to printing more of those cards and covering more people during any VIP Black promotions. They’ve already gone way over the number they originally intended and probably want don’t want to artificially inflate it even more.
Of course, I saw someone report that a store in Europe was letting people buy multiple copies on launch day (this was mostly shut down by the time they went on sale in the US), and a guy in front of me in line placed two online orders for one copy each while waiting to pick up a third in person. A _lot_ of people bought multiple copies to resell, and if they did so under one VIP card, they might only receive one VIP Black card, and any card(s) they receive will be permanently linked to their own VIP account. So, even if they do have to print that full amount of cards, they at least don’t have to honor the duplicate cards on event days, since they’ll probably require that VIP cards be scanned to limit holders to one use per event. The only cards that _might_ be transferrable are the THX cards that were handed out to the first 100 buyers at Leicester Square, since all of those buyers also qualified to have one printed up with their VIP account number like everyone else.
I received the notification by email at 11:30 am ET on Friday, ordered mine around 12:00 pm and was sold out at 12:30 pm.
Looking forward to see that huge box at my door 🙂
