LEGO Wicked Glinda & Elphaba Bookends (75691) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed a new LEGO Wicked set with the Glinda & Elphaba Bookends (75691). Releasing on September 1 (pre-order today), the set has 1,327 pieces and will be priced at $129.99. Each side of the bookends will have different locations for the characters, Emerald City for Elphaba and Shiz University for Glinda. In addition, there are also minifigures of The Wizard, Fiyero, and Madame Morrible.

These Glinda & Elphaba Bookends (75691) fantasy gifts will let your imagination float away to the Wicked universe when your browse your books. Adult fans of the movies embark on a magical building adventure, creating decorative LEGO® bookends for shelves with this Wicked merch gift craft kit.

Elphaba’s green bookend includes her green elixir bottle, a model of Emerald City and a Grimmerie housing with secret compartments for The Wizard and Fiyero minifigures. Inside Glinda’s pink LEGO book nook is a Shiz University model. A butterfly model nestles on top of a book stack that has a compartment for the Madame Morrible and Pfannee minifigures.

LEGO Ideas Blockbuster Achieves 10,000 Supporters

LEGO African Savanna Diorama (40784) GWP Revealed

LEGO has revealed the third set in the Wonders of the Natural World line of gift with purchase sets with the African Savanna Diorama (40784). The set has 287 pieces and it features the savanna with some wildlife such as an elephant and a marabou stork. There’s no word on when it will be released but I assume it’ll be shortly after the LEGO Ideas Friendly Snails ends on July 8. The price requirement should be the same as the Tropical Rainforest (40782) and Coral Reef Diorama (40783) at a $150 purchase.

This LEGO® African Savanna Diorama (40784) nature display model is the third building kit in a LEGO collectible series celebrating the wonders of nature. The vibrant scene captures the intriguing details and wildlife of the savanna. Set the scene by assembling the trees, water and flowers. Add the young elephant and the marabou stork, then place the stork’s egg in the tree for a fun finishing touch. This set makes a great gift for kids aged 12 and up or anyone who loves the natural world.

LEGO Ideas Build Your Favorite Hobby for Future GWP Set

LEGO Ideas has started a new building contest where they want you to build your favorite hobby to become a future gift with purchase set. Besides building LEGO, whatever your other hobbies are, LEGO wants you to build something that you think could make a great GWP item.

The build should be between 200-250 pieces and the contest will end on July 30. The best 15 builds that LEGO chooses will move on to a fan vote which will commence on August 11. The winning build will be announced no later than September 3.

LEGO Seasonal Halloween 2025 Sets Revealed

LEGO has revealed a few new LEGO Seasonal Halloween 2025 sets that will be available starting on August 1. These sets include a new Halloween truck similar to what LEGO did with Christmas last year as well as some decorative items.
