There are now official images of the summer 2017 The LEGO Batman Movie sets courtesy of Dutch online site Sinqel. We’ve seen images of these sets before but there are now clearer ones.

There are now official images of the LEGO Star Wars Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike Battle Pack (75167) via online Dutch site Sinqel. The battle pack includes minifigures of Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, and 4-LOM and we finally get to see final images of them after seeing prelims of it during the 2017 New York Toy Fair. The 122 piece set will be available in June and will retail for $14.99.

It looks like we have some confirmation of what the May the 4th LEGO promotion will be for this year and we’ve already seen images of it before. A reader has emailed in details and they were told that it will be the brick-built LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611) polybag. You can get it for free during the May the 4th promotion with a LEGO Star Wars purchase of $75 or more at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home.
I’ve been told that it this year’s promotional polybag would be a little different from previous years when they were exclusive minifigures and it appears that the brick-built R2-D2 will do just that. If you don’t wish to make a purchase during the May the 4th promo, you can build your own as the instructions have been online for a while. The only downside is that you have to substitute the front detailing as the printed 1×1 tiles are exclusive to this set. We’ll definitely confirm it when the May 2017 LEGO Store Calendar comes out in a few days.

The mascot LEGO Collectible Minifigures have been very popular with fans. The LEGO BrickHeadz sets have also been surprisingly popular with builders. What happens if you combine the two?
Jared Chan has done just that and has recreated some of the mascot minifigures from years past in the BrickHeadz style. These characters include Piggy Guy from Series 12, Bunny Suit Guy from Series 7, Bumblebee Girl from Series 10, and Chicken Suit Guy from Series 9. These look very cute and is a new way to look at the minifigures.
There’s a new LEGO Kickstarter project that has been launched by Michael Gale and Jason Allemann (JK Brickworks) that may interest you. This project is called PFx Brick which is used to add advanced lighting, sound, and motor control to your LEGO models. The Toys R Us Spring Sale has kicked off and they have some really good in-store and online sales on LEGO Speed Champions sets. The first set is the Ford F-150 Raptor & Ford Model A Hot Rod (75875) which is going for $24.99 which is $40 off the TRU pricing of $64.99 or $25 or the MSRP of $49.99 . This in-store promotion is valid until April 8, while supplies last.
The other LEGO Speed Champions set that is on sale is the Porsche 911GT Finish Line (75912). This set is also going for $24.99 which is $25 off the normal price of $49.99. It look like this offer is for both online and in-stores although it is sold out online at the moment. This promo runs until April 15, while supplies last.
