Rumored LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast BrickHeadz

As we know by now, the LEGO BrickHeadz line was introduced back at San Diego Comic Con last year and they will be officially released in March. LEGO VIP members will get early access to them in February.

There’s no information on what BrickHeadz will be coming out but we can probably guess that Marvel and DC will be part of it since they were released during SDCC. One new rumor that has been floating around Eurobricks is that there will be Disney BrickHeadz more specifically for Beauty and the Beast. Just2Good did an question and answer session yesterday and he did mention that there would be some BrickHeadz for the movie.

This is just a rumor for now but would you pick up the LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast BrickHeadz sets if they were to become actual sets?

The LEGO Batman Movie Accessory Pack (5004930) Review

The LEGO Batman Movie Accessory Pack (5004930)

From now until February 26 here in the US, LEGO Brand Stores are doing a Search & Find for Batman stickers/cutout that are placed throughout the store. As a prize for finding all the Batman variants, an associate will give you a Batman mask and The LEGO Batman Movie Accessory Pack (5004930) polybag. The event is intended for kids 6-14. The set contains 41 pieces which includes a Batman minifigure and the Bat-Signal. It also contains a variety of other promotional products such as a sticker sheet and a two-sided poster.

Minifigure

Batman is the same minifigure that is in many other sets including the Clayface Splat Attack (70904), Scarecrow Special Delivery (70910), and the Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522) polybag. His facial expressions include a smirk and a angry grimace.

Build

The only build in this Accessory Pack is the Bat-Signal. This build is exclusive to this polybag and it’s a pretty nice looking build for a free item. The Bat-Signal sits a 4×4 turntable piece and it is able to rotate a full 360 degrees. The signal area is also able to rotate by the way of a couple of a couple of Technic pins on the sides. The Batman symbol is a rare printed 2×2 round tile that is only in one other set, the LEGO Juniors Batman & Superman vs. Lex Luthor (10724)icon. It also incorporates the trans-brown Dome Ø32 piece which is nice.

LEGO Brand Store Valentine’s Day Building Events

LEGO 2017 Valentine's Day Building Events

If you checked out the February 2017 LEGO Store Calendar here in the US, you can see there are two building events to celebrate Valentine’s Day. On February 11, there is a kids event to build a mini rose that they can take home. This event is for VIPs and requires a sign up.

Adults also get to join in on the fun on February 14 as they also have a building night. This event is from 6-8pm and it appears the rose build is the same as the one the kids get. Registration is not required but may be necessary if there is a lot of demand for it so you may want to ask an associate just in case. I know the Fashion Valley location has started taking sign ups so there is demand for it at that particular location.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Mighty Micros: Wolverine vs. Magneto (76073) Review

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Mighty Micros Wolverine vs. Magneto (76073)

When the new wave of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Mighty Micros sets were revealed last year, one of my more anticipated sets was Wolverine vs. Magneto (76073). It has 85 pieces and retails for the usual $9.99. The contents of the box include two un-numbered bags, a box with the cape, two instruction leaflets for each Mighty Micro, and another leaflet for the parts list. On the back of the parts list, there’s an ad for the upcoming winter 2017 wave of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets which are coming out in March.

LEGO City: Undercover Nintendo Switch Includes Two Player Co-Op & Secret Nintendo Cameos

LEGO City: Undercover

Nintendo has put out the product page for LEGO City: Undercover for the Switch and there are some new details about the game. As reported before, this remastered version is not exactly a straight port and there is new information about it that supports the claim.

If you look at the game details, it states that it will now have two player co-op which is what fans wanted from the first game. It does not say online co-op so we’ll still have to see about that. That also takes us to the gameplay since, it doesn’t say if the co-op is in the Story Mode or in Free Roam. If it’s in the Story Mode, there might be changes to the game play since you don’t want both players doing the same puzzles.

At the very bottom of the product overview section, you can see that it states there will be secret Nintendo cameos for this version of LEGO City: Undercover. There were Nintendo cameos in the original game but hopefully we’ll see something different. Fans would definitely want to see minifigure characters but we’ll see if that happens or not.

There’s no word yet on the release date of LEGO City: Undercover although Amazon has it listed as April 30 but that could just be a placeholder. LEGO City: Undercover will also be released on PlayStation 4, XBox One, and on Steam.

LEGO City Cargo Train (60054) Sale on Amazon

If you want to expand your LEGO City train layout while picking up an older train set at a pretty decent price, Amazon has the Cargo Train (60052) for $139.99 which is $60.00 (30%) off the normal retail price of $199.99. This is one of the lowest prices this set has been at. Keep in mind that the Cargo Train was released in 2014 so it could be on the brink of retirement soon to make way for newer sets as it reaches it’s third year of shelf life.

Move heavy goods – and animals! – around the city with the super-powerful LEGO® City Cargo Train! This awesome motorized train with 4-channel, 7-speed, infrared remote control can transport almost anything. So it’s your job to make sure the cargo is in the right place at the right time to keep the city running smoothly. Attach the cattle wagon and 2 cargo wagons together and pull them around the circular rail track with the locomotive. Operate the forklift to move the pallets safely between the wagons and truck. Keep track of all the cargo leaving and arriving in the office at the impressive cargo train station. There you can use the sliding overhead crane with hook to move heavy cargo between vehicles or onto the ground. With so many play functions and cool features, this really is the ultimate set for train enthusiasts! Includes 4 minifigures: forklift driver, train driver, farmer and a truck driver.

Chevrolet Unveils Life-Sized LEGO Batmobile and Product Website

The LEGO Batman Movie Batmobile

The LEGO Batman Movie is set to hit theaters less than a month away and the marketing hype for it has ramped up even more. LEGO has teamed up with Chevrolet to create a life-sized version of the Batmobile as well as a dedicated website for it. It was unveiled today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and it consists of 344,187 pieces measuring at 17 feet long, 9 feet wide, and almost 7 feet tall. The construction took 222 hours to design and 1,833 hours to build.

The LEGO Batman Movie Batmobile

As for the website, it is similar to what you find in a real-life vehicle including the specs and product details of the Batmobile. Some things you can find on the Batmobile include Teen Driver Technology which has safety innovations like Automatic Nerd Alert and a Scarecrow Gas Detector. You can own it for only $48,000,000 and it comes in 13 shades of black such as Jet Black and Vanta Black. There’s even a comparison chart with it going up against The Joker Notorious Lowrider (70906) and The Riddler Riddle Racer. Furthermore, there’s also an animated Chevrolet commercial for the Batmobile, similar to the ones we see on TV and online.
