There are now official images of the summer 2016 LEGO Technic sets via Bricker. There are only three sets in the wave minus the Porsche GT3 RS (42056) which I’ll have a review of on June 1.
A lot of the LEGO exclusive products that I’ve reported earlier have now been listed on Shop@Home with the official images. These items include:
– LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Minifigure Display Frame (853611)
– LEGO What Am I (40161)
– LEGO Minifigure Cake Mold (853575)
– LEGO Keychain Rack (853580)
All of the items will be available starting on June 1 and three of the four are priced at $16.99 each. The What Am I set is priced at $39.99 and it includes 16 minifigures as well as small builds and two game boards. LEGO Brand Stores will also be carrying the items when they are released.
The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Civil War Captain America’s Motorcycle (30447) polybag promotion is now live for Memorial Day weekend if you weren’t able to pick it up at Toys R Us a few weeks ago. It is FREE with purchases of $35 or more at LEGO Brand Stores and on LEGO Shop@Home. If you’re deciding to make a purchase or not, be quick on it because it is only available until 11:59pm EST, May 30.
Just2Good over on Eurobricks has posted the official box art for the upcoming LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 & 2 (75828) set. The set is based on the reboot movie that will be released on July 15. It consists of 552 pieces with a price point at $59.99 and it will be available on July 1.

Ript Apparel has released a new LEGO shirt design today featuring The LEGO Movie’s Benny. The shirt is called “A Spaceship Odyssey” which is a play off the classic science fiction movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. It will be available for 24 hours and pricing starts at $11 for the regular t-shirts.
It was been fairly quiet on the news front but over on the LEGO Ambassador Network, it has been announced that LEGO has found a replacement for the Americas Community Manager position which was previously held by Kevin Hinkle. As you may or may not have known, the position was in the air the past few months as Kevin was moving to another position within The LEGO Group. Starting on July 1st, Paul Striefler will be taking over and you will be able to meet him in some upcoming LEGO conventions.

Just2Good on Eurobricks has provided some official images of a new LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-wing Pilot. This version of the pilot is from the Star Wars Rebels animated series with the helmet piece with some nice detailed printing. There’s no word yet at this time on how the Rebel A-wing Pilot will be distributed.
