LEGO 2016 Exclusive Products Available on June 1

A lot of the LEGO exclusive products that I’ve reported earlier have now been listed on Shop@Home with the official images. These items include:

– LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Minifigure Display Frame (853611)
– LEGO What Am I (40161)
– LEGO Minifigure Cake Mold (853575)
– LEGO Keychain Rack (853580)

All of the items will be available starting on June 1 and three of the four are priced at $16.99 each. The What Am I set is priced at $39.99 and it includes 16 minifigures as well as small builds and two game boards. LEGO Brand Stores will also be carrying the items when they are released.

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Civil War Captain America’s Motorcycle (30447) polybag promotion is now live for Memorial Day weekend if you weren’t able to pick it up at Toys R Us a few weeks ago. It is FREE with purchases of $35 or more at LEGO Brand Stores and on LEGO Shop@Home. If you’re deciding to make a purchase or not, be quick on it because it is only available until 11:59pm EST, May 30.

LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 & 2 (75828) Box Art Revealed

Just2Good over on Eurobricks has posted the official box art for the upcoming LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 & 2 (75828) set. The set is based on the reboot movie that will be released on July 15. It consists of 552 pieces with a price point at $59.99 and it will be available on July 1.

LEGO A Spaceship Odyssey T-Shirt on Ript Apparel

Ript Apparel has released a new LEGO shirt design today featuring The LEGO Movie’s Benny. The shirt is called “A Spaceship Odyssey” which is a play off the classic science fiction movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. It will be available for 24 hours and pricing starts at $11 for the regular t-shirts.

New LEGO Americas Community Manager Announced

It was been fairly quiet on the news front but over on the LEGO Ambassador Network, it has been announced that LEGO has found a replacement for the Americas Community Manager position which was previously held by Kevin Hinkle. As you may or may not have known, the position was in the air the past few months as Kevin was moving to another position within The LEGO Group. Starting on July 1st, Paul Striefler will be taking over and you will be able to meet him in some upcoming LEGO conventions.

I am happy to inform you that we have accomplished the very difficult task of finding a suitable candidate to replace Kevin Hinkle as Community Manager for Americas. Although we are sad to say goodbye to Kevin as a team member in AFOL Relations & Programs, we are thrilled that we are able to provide Kevin with a chance to explore new opportunities within The LEGO Group, and even within the LEGO Community Engagement (LCE) Department, ensuring that Kevin will still be a close colleague. As Kevin has already told you through an earlier LAN post, he will move into a new role as Business Integration Manager, using his years’ of experience engaging with and supporting the TFOL and AFOL community to build a stronger collaboration between the LEGO markets, business units and community.

LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-Wing Pilot Polybag Found

Just2Good on Eurobricks has provided some official images of a new LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-wing Pilot. This version of the pilot is from the Star Wars Rebels animated series with the helmet piece with some nice detailed printing. There’s no word yet at this time on how the Rebel A-wing Pilot will be distributed.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the details for what will be included in the Season Pass for the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game which comes out next month. If you pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game, the Season Pass will be included already. Check out the full details below.

LEGO® Star Wars: The Force Awakens Season Pass Details Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced further details on the LEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens Season Pass, which grants players access to a variety of downloadable content (DLC), including new game levels and story-driven content, as well as additional characters from across the Star Wars ™ galaxy.

The Season Pass features three brand new Level Packs that extend the LEGO® Star Wars™: The Force Awakens adventure with exciting new content not seen in the movie. Each add-on pack will allow players to experience key events from the film in different ways, including Poe Dameron’s journey back to the Resistance base after crash landing on Jakku, the assault on Maz Kanata’s castle through the eyes of Kylo Ren and the collapse of Starkiller Base from the perspective of two Resistance pilots. The Season Pass will also include five Character Packs featuring well-known Star Wars™ heroes, villains and Droids.
