LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood Movie Revealed

While I was at work today, I was informed that there will be a new LEGO Scooby-Doo movie that will coming out on May 3 called LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood. Like with many previous LEGO movies, it will also include an exclusive Scooby-Doo LEGO minifigure. From the looks of it, the minifigure has a slightly different face printing than what was released before. Check out a small blurb about LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood as well a trailer below. In LEGO® Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood, the gang heads to the entertainment capital of the world, Hollywood, where they take a tour of the legendary Brickton Studios, a historic Hollywood movie studio. While visiting the lot, the gang is surprised to find the once powerful film studio has fallen onto hard times. Neglected and in disrepair, Brickton, which has lost its luster, now faces threats of closure and an impending sale to greedy developers who want to tear it down.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League: Cosmic Clash Brainic Clip

Next week on March 1st, the next LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes movie will be releasing with Justice League: Cosmic Clash and today Warner Bro. Home Entertainment has released another clip from the movie featuring Brainiac creating a temporal anomaly against some of the super heroes.

Remember there will be an limited edition exclusive LEGO Cosmic Boy minifigure included with the Blu-Ray Combo Pack as well as for the Standard DVD.

The brilliant, hyper-obsessive-compulsive, super-computer Brainiac is combing the universe for new additions to his collection of worlds when he stumbles upon a ripe planet for his taking – Earth. But Brainiac quickly discovers Earth has a “firewall” – the Justice League. When Brainiac cleverly displaces several members of the Justice League to other time periods in Earth’s history, Batman, Flash and Cyborg must build and use the Cosmic Treadmill to race across time to retrieve their comrades – while members of the Legion of Super Heroes attempt to hold off Brainiac’s assault. Only time will tell in this battle for the fate of the Earth and the Justice League!

LEGO Minifigure Iconic Easter (5004468) Listed on Toys R Us

It doesn’t look like the UK and parts of Europe will be the only country having the LEGO Minifigure Iconic Easter (5004468) set available. It was reported that the set will be available across the pond with purchases of £15 or more in March.

It looks like Toys R Us will also have the set available some time in the future. The set will retail for $5.99 and will include the Chicken Suit Guy minifigure from Series 9 (71000) along with a cardboard henhouse box as well.

This little Iconic Easter (5004468) set will be a good time to pick up the Chicken Suit Guy at a reasonable price for people who missed out on it the first around because that particular minifigure isn’t going for cheap on the secondary market. However, there’s no word yet on when it will be available. The item number is #648866 if you want to check in stores.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman v. Superman Clash of the Heroes (76044) Review

I’m back with another short review and this time, it’s for the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Clash of the Heroes (76044). The set contains 92 pieces and retails for $12.99. The contents of the box include two un-numbered bags, the instructions, and a small sticker.

Star Wars Force Friday 2016 Returns in September

It appears Force Friday will be a yearly thing as Star Wars: Rogue One will have its own event and there are reports that it is planned for September 30 for this year. The event again will be connected to the upcoming movie being released in December although the date of the event has been pushed back a little from last year’s date.

We already know there will be five LEGO Star Wars sets based on the movie with set numbers:

We’ll most likely see official images of the sets at the Force Friday launch date similar to last year with very heavy embargo rules.

LEGO Nexo Knights Shield Dock Building Instructions

A loyal reader named Jason has emailed me the instructions for today’s Toys R Us building event for the LEGO Nexo Knights Shield Dock. To create your own, most of the pieces are already available except for blank trans-blue shield piece and the new Nexo Power sticker. From what I’m hearing, the set is somewhat flimsy after it is built as stuff just gets easily knocked off here and there. The event also included some other items including a poster and some LEGO Nexo Knights trading cards. Of course, it’s also available on eBay if you want.
