Reports of LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) Being Delayed

There are reports over on Reddit that the upcoming LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) set has been delayed for a few weeks due to a “quality issue.” I’ve also gotten a message from a reader who also works at a LEGO Brand Store and they have said the same thing. From my message, they also said that “something was not up to LEGO quality they they missed.” I’m not sure what this quality issue is about but I’m wondering if it is part of the top neck joint area that makes the head unstable and won’t stay in place as I stated in my review. I’ll try to get some more clarification and how long the delay will be. The set was scheduled to be released on September 1st.

GameStop Announces Release Date for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Video Game

GameStop has revealed the release date of the upcoming LEGO Marvel Avengers video game as January 26, 2016. Before this announcement, we’ve only been hearing from TT Games Game Director Arthur Parsons that the game would be coming in the fall but that general release timetable was changed after Gamescom when it was said to be pushed back to 2016.

When you pre-order LEGO Marvel’s Avengers from GameStop, you will also get the exclusive LEGO Silver Centurion Mark XXXIII Iron Man minifigure as a bonus.

LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) Review

In 2008, Disney and Pixar released a film called WALL·E and it instantly became not only one of best animated movies of all-time, but one of the best movies in general. In July of last year, the LEGO Ideas project by Angus MacLane hit 10,000 supporters and a few months later, it was announced that WALL·E would become an official LEGO Ideas set.

A few days ago, we got our first look at the new LEGO Seasonal Trick or Treat (40122) set. The set is officially available on September 1st but some LEGO Stores have started receiving their shipments of it. I’ve managed to purchase a set and here’s my review of it.

The Trick or Treat set contains 133 pieces and retails for $9.99 like previous Seasonal sets. The contents of the box include three un-numbered bags, a small instruction booklet, and two loose dark green 4×8 plates.

LEGO DC Super Heroes Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom! Trickster

I’ve gotten confirmation today that Amazon has started shipping out the new LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom! movie to people who had a pre-order for it. It also includes the exclusive Trickster minifigure for you to add to your collection of DC characters. The movie will officially be released tomorrow but if you order today, it’s possible that you might get it tomorrow or at least in two days with Prime shipping.

I’ve actually had the chance to watch the whole movie during a screening at San Diego Comic Con and I must say that it’s a better movie than I expected. Of course, you have the humor and cheesiness that every LEGO movie has but the story is pretty good as well.

Crime is on the run as the newly formed Justice League keeps Metropolis safe and this makes evil genius Lex Luthor very unhappy. Together with Black Manta, Sinestro and a gang of ruthless recruits, Lex builds his own league and declares them the Legion of Doom. LEGO Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace Collectible Poster Now Available

The new LEGO Star Wars prequel collectible posters have rolled out. For purchases of any LEGO Star Wars products at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home, you can get the Episode I: The Phantom Menace poster for free. Unfortunately, these posters do come folded but they still make great ones to hang up. This promotion will be available until Sunday, August 30.

LEGO Seasonal Thanksgiving Feast (40123) Set Image Found

After the reveal of the LEGO Seasonal Halloween Trick or Treat (40122) set yesterday, there’s now an image of the next seasonal set, the Thanksgiving Feast (40123). This image comes from the back of the instruction booklet from the Trick or Treat set and it shows a vignette of a Thanksgiving dinner with an older couple. This set will be available at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home in October for $9.99.
