There are only six days left until the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar is complete. Let’s pop open Day 19 to see what we get.
LEGO News, LEGO Reviews, and Discussions
Continuing with the LEGO polybag news, we now have official images of some of the promo polybags that will be available in 2015. The first is the LEGO Creator Flower Cart (40140) which has a whopping 71 pieces. It will be free with purchases of $75 or more. This polybag will be available during the whole month or while supplies last and makes a great complement to the LEGO Creator Detective’s Office (10246).
The other polybag is the LEGO Friends Mini Golf (30203). It has 26 pieces and features Emma playing mini golf. It is free with any LEGO Friends purchase during January.

It looks like there’s another 2015 LEGO Star Wars polybag that is a smaller version of their counterpart that will also be released next year. Over on Brickset, there is an image of the TIE Advanced Prototype Polybag (30275) which has 47 pieces and is a slimmed down version of set 75082. The polybag was found at a Canadian Toys R Us. There’s no mention of it being part of a promotion or the price of it.
This is the second polybag to feature a mini version of the vehicle with the other one being the AT-DP Polybag (30274). It is based on set 75083 of the same name and is available for free with a purchase of any LEGO Star Wars product.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games has announced that the Batman Beyond DLC pack is now available for download for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The new character pack costs $1.99 and features the Terry McGinnis version of Batman, Bruce Wayne, Ace, Joker, Bonk, Mr. Freeze in both his regular and spider-form, Blight, and Inque.
Keep in mind, the Batman Beyond DLC pack is not part of the Season Pass that is being offered. The other DLCs that are included in the Season Pass are the Arrow Pack, the Bizarro World Pack, and The Squad Pack. There will also be a free Heroines & Villainesses Pack that will also be available in the future.
BrickLink has launched another platform for users to submit and share their MOCs that aren’t commercialized, CUUSOO BRICK. From what I’m reading, it is similar to what LEGO Ideas is about except for some little differences.
Users submit their MOCs and other users vote on it and if it gets 100 votes, a CUUSOO BRICK Award is given and it goes under review. Then CUUSOO BRICK will contact the original creator and asks if they would like the project to be distributed or provide building instructions. If the original creator approves, the project can be purchased on the BrickLink MOC Shop with building instructions and parts. Both the original creator and the user who recommended the MOC will get royalties based on the sales of the project. Read the official press release below:
… ContinueBrickLink and CUUSOO Jointly Create a LEGO Publishing Platform
California, USA and Tokyo, Japan – December 17th, 2014 – BrickLink MOC Shop and CUUSOO teamed up to create a new platform that will publish custom LEGO models created by LEGO fans. Since 2000, BrickLink has facilitated the trade of bricks all around the world as a LEGO marketplace. CUUSOO Systems has previously operated what is now called LEGO Ideas (with The LEGO Group), supporting aspiring creators from around the world get their products manufactured.
The collaboration to launch will lower the threshold for MOC production in efforts to increase user-generated LEGO creations available for consumers. Users will be able to discover new MOC projects on CUUSOO collected from anywhere on the Internet
