We are now down to the single digits in the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar (75056). Will we still see the same trend that’s been happening throughout the calendar of a famous vehicle followed by their respective pilots?

We’re getting to the nitty gritty now on the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar (75056). Let’s see what we get today.
For Day 15, we’ve moved on from the Tatooine themed builds to Hoth with a Snowspeeder. This mini model has the distinct look with the shape, color, and laser cannons but there could also be some improvements on it. If you look at it from the back, you’ll definitely know what it is. However, the cockpit area looks a little off to me. Overall, the Snowspeeder is a good attempt as a mini model but could be improved on. I like it and hopefully we see more Hoth themed builds in the next few days as the trend seems to show.

LEGO has updated their servers yesterday and the official images of the new LEGO Star Wars AT-DP polybag (30274) are now available. This polybag will be given away for FREE during the whole month of January with any LEGO Star Wars purchase. Any Star Wars purchase. Picking up the UCS Slave I (75060) when it comes out on January 1st? You’ll definitely get one of these polybags to go along with it although they are from different timelines. You can even get the polybag with a keychain purchase. It’s that simple.
The AT-DP (All Terrain Defense Pod) itself contains 65 pieces and is based on the Star Wars Rebels animated TV series on Disney Channel.

If you follow our Facebook Page, you may have seen that we reported onsite in the wee hours of the morning that some of the new LEGO Minecraft minifigure scale sets are starting to show up at Toys R Us stores. As you can see from the image above, a box of each of The Ender Dragon (21117) and The Mine (21118) were sitting on the shelves. They were most likely brought out in the morning since I didn’t put them on the shelves the night before. We are getting a few more trucks coming in this week so there’s a chance that I’ll probably see more come in. If I do, I’ll let you guys know.

We’re back with the latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar (75056).
It seems like we’re getting a solid trend now of what we can expect to get. With every notable vehicle, there seems to be a relevant minifigure coming the next day. Yesterday we got Luke’s Landspeeder and for Day 13 we get Luke Skywalker himself. This version of Luke is is the Episode IV one with him in his white robes which only appears in two other sets, the Mos Eisley Cantina (75052) and the UCS Sandcrawler (75059)
.
He has a double-sided head with a smirk on one side and a stern look on the other. One criticism that I’ve seen about this particular Luke minifigure is that his face is, well it’s ugly. There’s too much detailing on it with the wrinkles and it makes him look a little old.
Overall, I don’t have much against this version of Luke Skywalker. It’s a nice addition although I already have him already in the other two sets he’s in.
