LEGO Minecraft Teaser Video

The LEGO Minecraft team is planning on releasing some details of the next Minecraft set. In the video below, they show something that wants to burst out of a brick and wants people to guess what it is. We do know that the designers have been working on a Co-Build set and have been giving updates on it. Or could it be the revealing of the Microworld: The End (21107) set? Back in January, it was revealed that this set would be joining the current Minecraft sets. The End features bricks called End Stone and mobs called Enderman. This dimension also has a boss mob called the Ender Dragon. We’ll see soon enough what this mysterious trailer is all about in the very near future.

There are a couple of teaser images of the LEGO The Simpsons Collectible Minifigures (71005) featuring arms of a couple of the characters. One image shows Ned Flanders holding a cup that says I Heart South Paws which is from his store, The Leftorium. Left-handers unite! The other image shows Homer holding a 1×1 round tile of a sprinked donut. We’ve already seen this image back in January at the 2014 Nuremberg Toy Fair. This version of Homer also has a 1×2 TV remote control. We should start seeing images of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures – The Simpsons Series soon. They will be available in May along with the TV episode on Fox.

LEGO The Hobbit Video Game Featuring Ocean’s 11

LEGO The Hobbit Video Game

IGN has released a new trailer video of LEGO The Hobbit Video Game based on an Ocean’s 11 theme. The crew consists of the Dwarves of Thorin and Company setting out to regain their lost kingdom. A heist if you may. The trailer gives some of the Dwarves nicknames such as The King for Thorin, Oin as The Jumper, Ori as The Shooter, and Kili as The Ladies Man. The nicknames also correspond to some of the abilities the character uses like a slingshot for Ori, and Oin’s ability to jump higher. The game is action-packed and has the usual humor thrown in to lighten the mood. Check out the PC Demo as well as what you can expect to find in the game.

LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Updated and Expanded Minifigure Revealed

LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Updated and Expanded

DK has just revealed the exclusive minifigure that will be in the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Updated and Expanded book on their Facebook Page. It will be Luke Skywalker in his Tatooine outfit. They named him “retro” Luke Skywalker because it is the same yellow-skinned variant that was found in the Landspeeder (7110) set from 1999. This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars theme and DK is acknowledging that. The book is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be available in May.
