LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Infographic

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Infographic

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a cool little infographic for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. It highlights some neat facts about various characters in the game. Did you even wonder how long it would take Howard the Duck to swim across Central Park Lake or how long it takes Iron Man to fly across Manhattan? Well this infographic will tell exactly how long it would take to accomplish those tasks.

We’ve played the game and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. We’ve done a review for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for the Playstation 3 version. We also did a handy guide on how to get the Deadpool Red Bricks if you need help finding them.

LEGO Minifigure Family Holiday Card App

LEGO Minifigure Family Holiday Card App

It’s the holiday season and LEGO has gotten into the holiday spirit by releasing a browser-based app called Minifigure Family. The app allows you to create a holiday card with a picture of your family created from LEGO minifigures. You can add up to 13 family members which includes adults, children, babies, dogs, and cats. After you’ve created your family, you can select from 10 different scenes to use as the background. Finally, you can edit your greeting and share your holiday card on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email, or even download it to print out a physical copy.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Box Art Revealed

The LEGO Movie Video Game Box Art

The box art and the press release for The LEGO Movie video game has been released for the public. The game was revealed at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con which you can see a couple of short videos I took below. The LEGO Movie video game will be released around the time the actual movie is released in February 2014.

In February 2014, The LEGO® Movie Videogame will rise to the occasion for Xbox One®, Xbox 360®, PlayStation 4®, PlayStation®3, Wii U™ consoles, as well as Nintendo 3DS™ and PlayStation® Vita handheld entertainment systems and PC.

The LEGO® Movie Videogame will bring players into the humorous and action-packed role of Emmet, an ordinary LEGO minifigure mistakenly thought to be “The Special”—a character prophesized to save the world from an evil LEGO tyrant. Throughout the game, players can harness the awesome power of the Master Builders to construct new extraordinary LEGO creations, while taking on the role of more than 90 playable characters inspired by the film in 15 exciting levels. This is going to be an authentic LEGO experience like never before, with a brand new LEGO visual animation style which simulates the movement and feel of actual LEGO toy sets.

New LEGO The Hobbit 2014 Polybags?

As you may or may not heard yet, the LEGO The Hobbit sets are starting to show up on store shelves. Eurobricks member Combee has posted the image above showing the minifigures from the 2014 wave and noticed there are a couple of minifigures listed that are not in the sets themselves but may be in some new polybags coming out in the near future. The image shows Legolas Greenleaf will be in set 30215 and the Lake-town Guard will be in set 30216. Legolas will have his trusty bow and arrow while the Lake-town Guard will have a bow and quiver. I’m assuming the minifigures will come with some bricks as well for the building part of the polybags. We’ll be giving more details as they become available.
