The new Series 10 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71001) are starting to show up in retail stores a ahead of the scheduled May 1st release date. There have been reports of them being sold at Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart stores throughout the United States. Keep a look out for them and see if you can find that elusive Mr. Gold minifigure!
With all of the images that are coming out for the LEGO 2013 Summer sets, it’s getting a little harder to keep up but we’re going to try our darndest to. A few of the Legends of Chima Summer sets have now appeared on LEGO’s cache and this time the images of the ultrabuilds are now available as well as a couple more Speedorz sets. Even though we’ve already seen these Chima sets at the Toy Fair, these new images are a little clearer to see.

A German seller has found 2 of the 5000 Mr. Gold minifigures that are in Series 10 LEGO Collectible Minifigures and they are now on eBay for €999 or about $1,307.09. The two minifigures are numbered 865/5000 and 870/5000.

The high prices of the Mr. Gold minifigures aren’t surprising since these are probably the first ones to show up on eBay but I know I won’t be paying insanely amounts of money just to get it. Probably a majority of collectors out there might miss out on him and might end up paying quite a penny just to get one. Hopefully more show up online and prices drop significantly to be tempting enough to pick one up.

David Hall, aka legoboy12345678 (Solid Brix Studios), along with ZachFBStudios, Spugesdu, and Legohaulic has created the Halo 4 Commissioning trailer made from LEGO bricks. The project which was announced 9 months ago took over 100 hours of work and 2452 individual frames to create the whole 2+ minute trailer. EclipseGrafx provided the minifigures while BrickArms provided the weapons shown in the video. Go here to see the stop-motion video and the official trailer side-by-side.
