More Marvel Comic LEGO Variant Covers

Wolverine & the X-Men #26

As the 2013 San Diego Comic Con rolls closer, Marvel is slowly releasing more LEGO variant covers for their upcoming comics. The reason for the variant covers is to promote the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game that will be released in October. Here you can see the covers for Wolverine & the X-Men #26, Daredevil #31, and Nova #8. Back in June, we got our first look at the variant covers for X-Men #5, Indestructible Hulk #14, and Hawkeye #15. All the covers will be illustrated by Leo Castellani, Christopher Jones, and Adam DeKracker and expect the comics to be released in September.

New LEGO Maersk Ship (10241) To Be Released in Future

GRogall over on Eurobricks is back with another reveal for a future LEGO release. He has revealed that there will be a new Maersk ship (10241) and will retail for €129.00. Again, there is not that much detail so far but expect GRogall to be giving us this information in the near future. The last LEGO sets that included Maersk were the Conainer Ship (10155) and the Container Train (10219) which were both released in 2011. Maybe the Maersk ship will be one of the brand new Triple E cargo vessels that will make it’s maiden voyage on July 15th at Busan port, Korea. The Triple E will be the world’s largest ship afloat with capacity of 18,000 TEU.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Reveals New Character

Yesterday, Marvel revealed the box art for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game and they have said they will be slowly revealing more characters in the game as we get closer to the release date. This went unnoticed but a couple of days ago, Game Director at TT Games Arthur Parsons has let loose another character for all to see. It is none other than Victor Creed also known as Sabretooth. He also confirmed that the game will be available on the next generation consoles including the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.

If you’re going to San Diego Comic Con 2013, you will be able to have a hands-on experience of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes at the Marvel booth (#2329), the LEGO booth (#2829), and at the Xbox Gaming Lounge at the Hyatt all four days of the Con. At the Marvel video games panel on Saturday, there will most likely be more new characters being shown off.
