After a few days of downtime, BrickLink is now back up and running with operations seemingly back to normal. As confirmed, they did get a ransom letter and from their investigations and they’ve been looking into some suspicious activity on the site since October. At this point, they suggested that it was a credential stuffing event in which cybercriminals use stolen usernames and passwords from another site to access BrickLink. As a result, you’ll have to change your passwords when you access the site and suggest not using the same ones as for other sites.

As many of you will know, we received a threat and ransom demand on Friday, November 3rd. We’d been aware of and actively managing some limited suspicious activity since mid-October, with unauthorized sellers offering products at huge discounts and fraudulently accepting payment from buyers.
As soon as we were aware of the potential escalation on November 3rd, we put the site into maintenance mode out of an abundance of caution. We did this to protect our members and keep complete control of the platform while investigating.
We found that a relatively small number of BrickLink accounts may have been accessed. It is important to note that there is no evidence so far that our systems were compromised.

The Tesla Center by Airbricks95 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the Tesla service centers and includes some superchargers in the front of the building. It also includes four Tesla vehicles such as the Model Y, two Model S, and the Cybertruck.

The new LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower (76269) has been officially announced and if you get the LEGO Insiders emails, it has shown off the LEGO Marvel Taxi gift with purchase set that you get during Black Friday weekend. The set features a sporty yellow taxi along with minifigures of Black Panther, two Chitauri, and a taxi driver.
LEGO has officially revealed the largest LEGO Marvel set produced with the Avengers Tower (76269). Releasing during Black Friday weekend on November 24, the set has 5,201 pieces and retails for $499.99. The set features the Avengers Tower with many scenes throughout the Infinity Saga. In addition to be the largest Marvel set, it also has the most minifigures for the theme with 31 including one for Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige.
Since this is the Black Friday set,LEGO Insiders members November 24-27 will receive a free LEGO Marvel Taxi set which includes an iconic New York yellow taxi and four minifigures including Black Panther, a taxi driver, and two outriders when they purchase the LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower.
