LEGO Planting 50,000 Trees in Vietnam

Earlier this month, LEGO announced that they are planting 50,000 trees in Vietnam near their new factory site. The trees are to compensate the 25,000 trees that will be removed during the upcoming construction in November. Currently, LEGO has already planted 15,000 trees with another 35,000 in the next two years at locations close to the site. As for the new LEGO factory in Vietnam, it was announced late last year and will be the company’s first carbon neutral run site which is set to start production in 2024.

LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274) Designer Video

For some weird reason, LEGO has finally put up the designer video for the LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274). The set is almost two years old now and we have LEGO designers Mike Psika, Adam Grabowski, and Carl Merriam talking about some of the details in the set. One of the challenges they had was figuring out to refine how the gunner seat would pop out on the side. You may already know about the little details if you have the set but it’s still neat hearing how they came to be.

LEGO Ideas Pac-Man Moving Display Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Pac-Man Moving Display by LiteBricks is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Consisting of 1,603 pieces, the build features a crank turning mechanism to move Pac-Man and the four ghosts. You can also switch out the four ghosts to four blue ones.

The project joins Ancient Roman Temple, This is Fine, and Castle Dracula as the ones to reach the Third 2022 Review Stage.
