If you didn’t know, the LEGO Icons Galaxy Explorer (10497) has two alternate builds for the set as well. You can download them for free on the Building Instructions page and they are alternate versions inspired by the One Man Space Ship (918) and Space Transporter (924) from 1979 using the same parts given in the set.
For those who are LEGO VIP members, you can now pre-order the new LEGO Icons Lion Knights’ Castle (10305). The massive set inspired by the King’s Castle from 1984 has 4,514 pieces and retails for $399.99. It also has a whopping 22 minifigures including the queen, knights, and more. The general release is on August 8 but we’ll see if there is enough stock for that to happen. Remember to use Rakuten to earn some cash back on your purchase.

LEGO has uploaded the product listing for the LEGO Friends 2022 Advent Calendar (41706) on the LEGO Shop. The set has 312 pieces and retails for $34.99 and it includes four minidolls. It will be released on September 1.
There are now official images of the upcoming LEGO City 2022 Advent Calendar (60352) which will be connected to the Farm and Space themes from this year. It will have 287 pieces and the price has bumped up to $34.99 which is $5 more than the usual price. We get the usual Santa minifigure along with some LEGO City TV characters including Billy, Maddy, Tippy, Raze, and Mr. Produce who is also in the more expensive Grocery Store (60347).
Yesterday, we got our first look at a couple of LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Buildable Figures and today JB Spielwaren has revealed the box art for them as well as adding another character to the lineup. We can’t have Spider-Man unless we get his archnemesis as well with Venom. Now that we get to see the full figures, they don’t look too bad, especially Venom.
Spider-Man celebrates his 60th anniversary in August and Marvel.com has revealed some new Spider-Man “Beyond Amazing” products which includes some LEGO Spider-Man Buildable Figures. In the same line as Iron Man (76206), there are images of Spider-Man as well as Miles Morales. I expect the full reveal of these sets should be soon.
The Medieval Watchtower by PeterKeith is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Tower has removable floors with detailing inside of each floor. It also proposes a knight, three soldiers, and a horse.
