The minifigure is a kid with a Galaxy Explorer shirt. He does have a double-sided head with a large smile on one side and a nervous expression on the other. He does wear a brown helmet.

There are two parts to the build. The first is a teddy bear mech that uses red and blue roller skates. The arms are carrying a ray gun and a whisk with some umbrellas in the back of the mech.

The main build is a section of the bedroom which has the cardboard rocket. The rocket actually looks really nice but it does have some stickers to give it more detailing. The side flaps uses a new piece that looks like a flap from a box. There are two seats in the rocket, one for the kid and one for the cat.

On the floor next to it, there are some additional accessories like a scissor, some green paint, some green army men, and a flag at the corner showing the Space Command Center (493).

Overall, the LEGO Ideas Cosmic Cardboard Adventures (40533) is a very nice promo set but the threshold to get it is a little high. Again, you can get it from now until May 30 with a $160 purchase.

LEGO Children's Amusement Park (40529)

LEGO Children's Amusement Park (40529)

There are two minifigures with this set, the boy and girl. The boy wears a banana flannel shirt while the girl has on a red striped shirt.

There are a few amusement park attractions that are in the set. One is a duck/frog toss game, both of which are yellow.

The strength test has a very short height as the hammer itself is almost as tall as the game. It uses a functional mechanism that allows the gray piece to go up when you hit the target.

The main part of the build is the banana boat ride. The yellow swing pieces used for the boat are fairly rare as it was only used in Rapunzel’s Tower (43187) from 2020. There are some jungle sticker decorations for the two posts on the side and a banana sticker for the hood piece. There’s also a monkey holding a banana peeking out from the sign but it looks bad from the back.

Overall the LEGO Children’s Amusement Park (40529) is a fun little set and the price to get it is somewhat reasonable. The attractions do integrate with your Fairground Collection very well although they’re quite smaller than the current rides. Again, you can get it now until May 30 with purhases of $90.
