Amazon currently has the LEGO Creator Pirate Ship (31109) for 15% off the normal retail price. This is the first significant sale the set has been on even though you only save $15 which drops it to $84.99. Since the set is a 3-in-1, it can also be built into the Pirates’ Inn as well as Skull Island. Note that the sale price is for the Frustration-Free Packaging.
Yesterday, LEGO Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton did a short Q&A and he has revealed there will be another licensed LEGO Collectible Minifigures series coming next year. Someone asked about his dream licensed minifigure series and he has teased that one of his will be released in 2022 but couldn’t say anymore other than that. What license do you think will be coming out for the LEGO Collectible Minifigures line?
LEGO Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton has revealed that there will be a new set being announced some time this week. Obviously, it’s still Saturday here in the US so it’ll probably be next week. Furthermore, the set will include some white masonry bricks in his latest bricktease post and will be released in October. It has been rumored that the set Matthew is referring to could be LEGO Queer Eye Apartment (10291) based on the hit Netflix series. The white bricks mentioned do match some of the walls in the loft so that gives some credence to the rumor.

Amazon now has the first wave of LEGO VIDIYO BeatBox sets on heavy discounts, some of which are now 50% off. As we know by now, LEGO VIDIYO was somewhat a failed experiment and will be reorganizing in 2022 and releasing new play experiences in 2023.

Amazon currently is selling the LEGO Marvel Studios Collectible Minifigures – 6 pack (66678) at retail. It is selling for $29.94 which is the same price as if you purchase six packs. Keep in mind that I’ve heard people getting the same minifigures in these six packs so you’ve been warned. The listing shows there is 17 left as of this post but I assume they’ll keep restocking.
adidas Philippines has released a new line of NBA t-shirts featuring some NBA stars as LEGO minifigures. These shirts show James Harden, Trae Young, Donovan Mitchell, and Damian Lillard with their respective logos. The shirts are a continuation of LEGO’s multi-year partnership with adidas to create products geared towards sports and active lifestyles. What’s interesting is that the NBA is now also somewhat involved and we haven’t seen any LEGO NBA products since 2003. It’s a long shot but I hope we will see some NBA licensed products even though they can only feature athletes that have signed with adidas.
LEGO has officially announced the next LEGO Winter Village set with the 1,445 piece Santa’s Visit (10293). Releasing on October 1 for $99.99, the set expands on the popular Winter Village theme with this latest set which features a family getting ready for Santa’s visit.
