LEGO Announces Collaboration with BrickLink to Produce Rejected LEGO Ideas Projects

LEGO has announced that they are moving forward with the pilot program with the BrickLink Designer Program to produce LEGO Ideas projects that didn’t become official sets. It will kick off in 2021 where select designers will invited to proceed forward. That’s no any other details at this time but expect more information early next year. What do you guys think about this new LEGO/BrickLink program to allow a second chance for sets to be realized?

Dear LEGO Ideas members,

As you know, LEGO Ideas has historically produced 4-5 new LEGO sets each year based on creative fan concepts that have reached the 10,000-supporter milestone. LEGO BrickHeadz 150th Theme Winner Announced

Last month, LEGO did a fan vote to pick the 150th LEGO BrickHeadz set and the winning theme has been announced. There were four themes to choose from and they are Lilo & Stitch, Minecraft, Jaws, and Star Wars and the winner is:

Star Wars

There were 13,000 people who voted and the majority of it went to Star Wars. This is obviously very disappointing as we’ve already seen 15 other Star Wars BrickHeadz already while there were two brand new IPs on the table that could’ve been added. Oh well, let’s just wait for yet another Star Wars BrickHeadz to be their special 150th one.
