LEGO x Adidas ZX 8000 Official Images

Although there hasn’t been any announcements from LEGO about the upcoming LEGO x Adidas A-Z series of shoes, official images of it have already popped up on various shoe sites including Nice Kicks. The LEGO x Adidas ZX 8000 will apparently retail for $130 and will be available starting on September 25 at select retailers and on adidas.com.

The shoe features many of LEGO’s iconic colors and it has the logo on the tongue and on the insoles. There is also a 2×3 green brick in the front along with some brick designs on the lace cage and near the heels.

LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (75978) Designer Video

The LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (75978) has been out for a few weeks now and LEGO has just released the designer video for the set. LEGO designers Marcos Bessa and Djordje Djordjevic talks about some of the details within the various buildings that are found in the set. Diagon Alley is currently in stock on Shop@Home for $399.99.

LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) Now Available for VIPs with Free Gift

The LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) is now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home for VIPs. The set has 3,187 pieces and retails for $349.99. We’re still working on our review of the set but we did do a separate review for just the minifigures since there were a whopping 21 of them in the set.

In addition when you buy the Mos Eisley Cantina, you’ll also get Yoda’s Lightsaber (5006290) as a free gift with purchase. This set features Yoda’s lightsaber hilt on a display stand which has a small plaque for it on the front.

LEGO Star Wars Yoda’s Lightsaber (5006290) Confirmed GWP Coming Soon

LEGO has uploaded a product page for the LEGO Star Wars Yoda’s Lightsaber (5006290) which confirms that it will be a gift with purchase item coming soon. The page also shows a blurry image of the set which looks extremely close to the render that StoneWars did the other day seen above. There’s no description but the set is supposed to be free when you purchase the new Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) which will be available for VIPs tonight/tomorrow, depending on what time zone you’re in. We’re still not sure if the lightsaber will be available tonight or on October 1 since there was no info given about it so keep an eye on it. Thanks to Vic for the heads up.

LEGO Investing $400 Million to Accelerate Sustainability Efforts – Eliminating Plastic Bags

The LEGO Group has announced that they will be investing up to $400 million to accelerate their sustainability efforts. One of the steps they are taking is to phase out the single use plastic bags that we have now and will be replacing them with more sustainable packaging by 2025. Starting next year, Forest Stewardship Council-certified recyclable paper bags will be tested in boxes. You can read more about the initiative in the press release below.

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Rumored Set Details

It’s about that time when new rumors for the LEGO 2021 sets are coming out and it looks like there’s information about the LEGO Star Wars 2021 sets. First off, the report that the Battle Packs will be gone next year seem to be true as there is no information about any new ones coming out. Next up, it is said that some of the regular system scale ships will be shrunk down into in scale to be more affordable but at the expense of some details.

In addition, there will be more products for The Mandalorian as season two will be starting next month on Disney+.
