LEGO Patent Day Discounted Print Cost on Rewards Center

LEGO Brick Patent Day was a few days ago and to celebrate, LEGO is offering some new original prints on the Rewards Center. There are now some new patent prints for various countries as well as a LEGO System brochure. Also for a limited time, LEGO has reduced the cost for a majority of the prints to 150 VIP points each. If you’re a fan of original prints but were holding off on spending your hard earned points on them, now is a great time to consider getting them since we don’t know when they will be discounted again.

LEGO Technic March 2021 Official Set Images

German retailer JB Spielwaren has uploaded some product listings for a couple of the new LEGO Technic sets that are set to be released on March 1 which are the Rescue Hovercraft (42120) and the Heavy-Duty Excavator (42121). Both sets are 2-in-1 builds and you can also see the alternate builds on the back of the boxes.

LEGO Personalised Mosaic Portrait (40179) Available on LEGO Shop

A few years ago, LEGO introduced the Mosaic Maker at flagship LEGO stores in which you can take a picture and you can get to build a portrait of yourself. Since the COVID-19 pandemic is still not contained, LEGO is now offering the service, in a way, on the LEGO Shop. There is now a product listing for the Personalised Mosaic Portrait (40179) for $129.99 and you can upload an image to the tool to get the parts for the image shipped straight to your house. There are some limitations to what image you can use which is stated in the terms of service. The price is $129.99 and as of this post, it qualifies you for a LEGO City promo. Of course, this item may not be relevant to you but it does make a great gift item. Thanks to Akindu for the heads up.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) Upgraded to Backorder Status on LEGO Shop

For those who have the cashflow, the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) has been changed to backorder status and that means that you can now place orders for it. It’s been a while since the set has been available for retail price and it will ship within 60 days. The UCS Falcon has been a staple on my coffee table ever since I built it for a review back in 2017 and it still gets comments when people come over.

LEGO LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa (10295) Official Images

The LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa (10295) was announced yesterday but the press kit that we received didn’t have any many clear images of the set. It has now been listed on the LEGO Shop and we have some official images of it. The Porsche 911 will be available for VIPs starting on February 16 for $149.99.

LEGO Ideas Baba Yaga Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Baba Yaga project by Artem Biziaev is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the iconic character from Slavic fairy tales. The main build is the Hut on Hen’s Legs that opens up to reveal details inside. What’s more interesting about this project is that the required amount of supporters needed in less than a day.

LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa (10295) Designer Video

This morning, LEGO announced the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa (10295) and we get to see some closer details of the set with the designer video. Designers Mike Psiaki, Car Merriam, and Yoel Mazur talks about some of the features and elements that are in the classic car. One thing is that there are no stickers on the set as it uses all printed elements.

The Porsche 911 has 1,458 pieces and will retail for $149.99. VIPs can get first dibs on the set starting on February 16 at LEGO Stores and on the LEGO Shop.
