Record Number of Guests at LEGO House This Summer

LEGO has released a press release about the LEGO House which states that there is a record number of guests attending the attraction this summer. Ticket sales have surpassed last year’s numbers by 30-40% and there have been days where the LEGO House has been completely sold out.

Record number of guests at LEGO® House this summer

New visitor record this summer in LEGO® House. Despite hot days, guests have booked tickets over the past five weeks, exceeding last summer’s figures by 30-40%.

Jesper Vilstrup, CEO of LEGO House says: “The feedback from our guests is that we create an absolutely fantastic LEGO experience for both children and adults, and the guests are fortunately sharing their experience in LEGO House with family and friends. Many people share their experiences via social media, and we can clearly see that the awareness about LEGO House has increased over the past year, which I am convinced is one of the reasons for the great visitor numbers. Now guests simply have a better idea of what LEGO House is.”

LEGO House opened its doors to the public for the first time in September 2017, and since then, visitor numbers have only gone up. Last summer was the first high season at the attraction, and although

LEGO Hidden Side App Now Available

LEGO Hidden Side High School (70425)

To prepare for the official release of the LEGO Hidden Side sets here in the US tomorrow, LEGO has also launched the LEGO Hidden Side app. You can now download it for Android and for iOS for free. The app is augmented reality based and you can use it alongside the sets to make them come alive on screen. There are a number of ghosts that you can fight and collect within the app. I’m sure many will not bother with it as the sets will be popular since it’s horror themed but it’s additional features that kids can enjoy.

The LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! (70840) Back on Sale on Amazon – July 2019

The LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! (70840) is back on sale over on Amazon. It is currently priced at $266.85 for the Frustration-Free Packaging which is 11% off the regular price of $299.99. This deal isn’t as good as the one earlier this month but a deal is a deal on any D2C sets. Also keep in mind that various LEGO stores have sales on some of the older The LEGO Movie 2 sets to make way for some of the new stuff that is coming out in a few days.
