The Fall 2018 LEGO Collection Preview Experience is going on right now and LEGO has displayed a lot of the summer 2018 sets there including The LEGO Ninjago Movie Ninjago City Docks (70657). The main question that fans have been wondering was the price of the set. Was it the rumored $300 or something lower than that?

We can now confirm that the set will retail for only $229.99. It’s still somewhat of a hefty price tag but it’s an easier pill to swallow. The Ninjago City Docks will be available starting on August 1 and it is not a direct-to-consumer set. You can check out the set in closer detail from The Brick Show’s video below.

Today is the start of the Fall 2018 LEGO Collection Preview Experience and it looks like LEGO has shown off some of the new summer 2018 LEGO Star Wars products there. Displayed there are Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter (75214), Snoke’s Throne Room (75216), X-Wing (75218), and Sandcrawler (75220). The Brick Show was there and they have uploaded a video showing off the sets.


Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter is the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor from Star Wars: the Clone Wars and includes minifigures of Anakin Skywalker and R2-D2. The retail price is $19.99.

Snoke’s Throne Room was seen in Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi and some of the play features include a revolving elevator as well as one to drag Rey to the throne like in the movie. Minifigures include Snoke, two Elite Praetorian Guards, Rey, and Kylo Ren. The retail price is $69.99.

The X-Wing is the the Red Squadron version and the size is similar to the current X-Wing sets. The minifigures include two Pilots and two Astromech Droids. The retail price is $79.99.

The Sandcrawler is the system size version and is not as large as the UCS version. The minifigures include Luke Skywalker, two Jawas, Astromech Droid, RA-7 Protocol Droid, 2-1B Surgical Droid. The retail price is $139.99.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112) Revealed

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112)

Back during the 2018 Nuremberg Toy Fair, it was reported that there would be a new LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112) and today LEGO has officially revealed the set. It was said that it will be using the new Power Functions 2.0 as well as utilizing a tablet or smartphone to operate the Batmobile using Bluetooth. By using the physical remote, users can personalize it with buttons and sliders. There will be a new coding interface that will be released later this year so kids can code speed, direction, sound, and duration to create new stunts and movements.

LEGO has also revealed that the set can be controlled with your voice through a new app called Powered Up.The Batmobile (76112) will be available starting August 1 with a price point of $159.99. The set includes 321 pieces, two motors, a battery hub, as well as a Batman minifigure.
