LEGO Star Wars Porg (75230) Amazon Sale – September 2019

Some of you may not like these type of builds but LEGO will be continue releasing more of them especially in a few months when the Yoda build comes out. Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars Porg (75230) on sale for $45.99 which is 34% off the retail price. This is one dollar off its lowest price it has been on Amazon. For 811 pieces and the UCS style plaque, I’d say this is a great deal for it even if it looks hideous.

LEGO Ideas Queen: I Want to Break Free Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Queen: I Want to Break Free project by Han Sbricksteen is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It 1,300+ piece set recreates the iconic music video from 1984 and it features the members of Queen including Freddy Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. This is the first project to reach the Third 2019 Review Stage.

The LEGO Movie 2 Sets Retiring Soon?

Here’s an interesting article about The LEGO Movie 2 sets that came through my email this morning. Online retailer ToyPro has posted that TLM2 sets could be retiring sooner than expected. As they are a retailer, they are able to order directly from LEGO and they asked there is something going on with the sets and LEGO responded with, “The movie sets will not come back as far as I know now due to disappointing resale.”

If you’ve been on LEGO Shop@Home and on Amazon, you would have noticed that a majority of The LEGO Movie 2 sets have been on sale for a few months now. Even the D2C Welcome to Apocalypseburg! (70840) has been discounted on Amazon. If you saw the post about the first half 2019 financial results, TLM2 didn’t even crack the top five selling themes on the list. Sets usually don’t go on sale on Shop@Home unless they are retiring soon so this could be an indication that they may be gone by the beginning of the year.

Thanks to Edon for the heads up.

LEGO Star Wars Battles

It is a real-time multiplayer PvP arena battle that you can play in iconic Star Wars locations. You can collect numerous characters and vehicles as you battle other players to win control of the arena. From the looks of the images, it’s pretty similar to the Gears POP! game that I’ve been playing.

LEGO Classic Space Galaxy Explorers Geeky Jerseys Back in Stock

Almost five years ago, I reported on some cool apparel that LEGO Classic Space fans may enjoy and it has been so popular that it has been in and out of stock for a long time. Over on Geeky Jerseys, they have the Explorer jersey available again which features the Classic Space logo across the front and the Galaxy Explorer patch on the back. The arms also has some space patches on it as well.

The jersey goes for $99.00 which is around the same price that the mid-to-higher end hockey jerseys go for. You can customize the name on the back as well as whatever number you choose. Keep in mind the jersey are custom made and they are limited time so get it before it’s gone again.

This is not a paid sponsorship. I think it’s just cool.
