LEGO set 6546 Slick Racer 4 is an all-printed, 4-wide racer from 1996. This was one of the first 6 sets to include the now classic Slick Tires from which this set takes its name. This 38 piece set was an accompanying model to 6335 Indy Transport and 6337 Fast Track Finish. Cumulatively, these three sets contained the numbers 1 through 6 race cars, all in the same style. This particular copy comes sealed with not one, but two Kmart stickers!

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 17 (71018) Feel Guide

The Series 17 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71018) were revealed yesterday at the 2017 New York Toy Fair. Although there are no names for the characters announced yet, the folks over at Eurobricks has put out what seems to be the official names of the characters.

Back row: Surfer Boy, Gourmet Chef, Hot Dog Vendor, Elf Maiden, Circus Strongman, Yuppie, Veterinarian, Highwayman

Front row: Connoisseur, Butterfly Girl, Roman Gladiator, Corn Cob Guy, Retro Space Hero, Dance Instructor, Battle Dwarf, Rocket Boy

As with previous Collectible Minifigure series, I’ve already gotten a few requests for the feel guides I put out for this series and there’s no better time than now to do one. I’ll be using the references from the box image to discuss how to feel for a particular character. Again, some may not need a guide but for those who are interested in one, hopefully this helps.

Surfer Boy: The surfboard is the easiest thing to feel for.

Gourmet Chef: There are quite a few things that make her easy to find including the chef’s hat, pie, and whisk.

Hot Dog Vendor: The curved hot dog and bun pieces are the things that stand out for him.

Elf Maiden: You should feel for the sword piece as it is the easiest thing on the Elf Maiden to find.

Circus Strongman: The new round barbell piece is the only thing you should feel for when finding him.

Yuppie: The easiest thing to feel for is the mobile phone as it has a pretty distinct design.

LEGO Ideas Dungeon Master Achieves 10,000 Supporters

In some non-New York Toy Fair 2017 news, the Dungeon Master project by Ymarilego is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is a tabletop game where you create your own dungeons to play in with others. The project proposes enough bricks for 8×8 stud wide rooms with the lairs being 16×16 studs wide. There are three hero minifigures as well as six minifigures of monsters and villains for you to combat.

This project was supported heavily by the tabletop game community including Wil Wheaton and Geek and Sundry, just to name a few. It now joins The Blues Mobile and SEGA Classic Arcade Machines as the projects to reach the First 2017 Review Stage.
