LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi in 2 Minutes

LEGO Star Wars Snoke's Throne Room (75216)

Today in anticipation of Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi coming to home media next week, LEGO and Star Wars has released a new video called LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi in 2 Minutes which is basically an abridged version of the movie. In the middle of the video, we get to the scene in Snoke’s throne room and we may have gotten a sneak peek at the rumored set coming later this year tentatively called the same thing or The Throne Room Duel (75216). The set may not look exactly the same way but it’s assumed that it’ll look somewhat similar. For the play features of the set, it is said that it has a revolving elevator and another feature that drags Rey to the throne and the minifigures will include Snoke, Rey, Kylo Ren, and a couple of Praetorian Guards. Check out the video below.

Toys R Us Closing Liquidation and LEGO Exclusives Details

As we know by now, barring any miracles, all of the Toys R Us stores in the US will be closing in a few months and the main questions are will there be any LEGO sales and what will happen to the TRU exclusives. From the memo that I saw at work, all of the current promotions that are going on will finish out and the liquidation sales that people have been waiting for will start soon unless your store was from the initial wave of closings that were announced.

Also on the memo was the “Do Not Liquidate” list which includes LEGO. From what I saw, it pretty much included all of the newer LEGO sets. It has been talked about around the LEGO community that TRU will be sending all their LEGO products back to LEGO themselves and there will be no sales on the sets, at least the more recent ones. It’s nice to finally see some confirmation and stop with the guessing on whether or not there will be LEGO sales during the liquidation.

As for the TRU exclusives like the Bricktober sets or polybags, it’s hard to say what will happen to them at this time. Since LEGO probably has the rest of the year planned out already, they may have to do some reorganizing for the distribution or delay them. For example, it would be weird to send TRU labeled Bricktober sets to other retailers like Target and that won’t happen. It wouldn’t be a surprise if LEGO made a … Continue

LEGO Jurassic Park and Incredibles 2 Sets Found at Walmart

LEGO Jurassic World Incredibles 2 Walmart

Last week, I reported on a couple of new LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets and one of them was the 25th anniversary Jurassic Park set called the Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (75932). It looks like that set has started to hit sheleves a little early at Walmart because a reader has emailed in a couple of images of the set that he was able to purchase at his location in Connecticut.

In addition, he also found the third LEGO Juniors Incredibles 2 set which is called Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit (10759). The price was revealed to be $19.99 from the New York Toy Fair and it contains 95 pieces. The minifigures includes Elastigirl and another character.

Your mileage may vary but it’s worth checking out if you are looking forward to these sets. Thanks to Jay for emailing in the images.
