Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today the characters in Champions, the next downloadable Character Pack for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. The upcoming pack, priced at $1.99, will add characters from Marvel Comics’ popular Champions comic book series, offering players the chance to unleash the limitless strength of Amadeus Cho and supersonic flight of Nova. The Champions are a group of teenage Super Heroes started by three Avengers disillusioned by the behavior of their elders and the general state of distrust by the people towards super-powered beings. Together they are determined to change the world their own way!

A few days ago, I reported that the new LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi DJ (40298) minifigure polybag has shown up at various Toys R Us locations. I check the inventory when I went to work and saw that they did indeed have some on the floor available for purchase at my nearest TRU. Unfortunately, they were street dated until January 9 but the manager on duty allowed the purchase to go through. They retail for $5.99 each but I got an employee discount on it. The item number is 379276. There are potential spoilers after this point but it’s been almost a month since the movie has been out so it’s up to you if you want to proceed or not.
There hasn’t been much information about the upcoming LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan (21313) since it was announced as the winner of the Third 2016 Review Stage until now. According to Promobricks, the German LEGO Store flyer for January/February has revealed a teaser for the set which shows a blueprint outline for it. There has been rumors that the release date of the set is January 17 but there’s been no confirmation of that. The official reveal of the set should be coming any time now so stay tuned for that.
