LEGO Planting 50,000 Trees in Vietnam

Earlier this month, LEGO announced that they are planting 50,000 trees in Vietnam near their new factory site. The trees are to compensate the 25,000 trees that will be removed during the upcoming construction in November. Currently, LEGO has already planted 15,000 trees with another 35,000 in the next two years at locations close to the site. As for the new LEGO factory in Vietnam, it was announced late last year and will be the company’s first carbon neutral run site which is set to start production in 2024.

LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274) Designer Video

For some weird reason, LEGO has finally put up the designer video for the LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (10274). The set is almost two years old now and we have LEGO designers Mike Psika, Adam Grabowski, and Carl Merriam talking about some of the details in the set. One of the challenges they had was figuring out to refine how the gunner seat would pop out on the side. You may already know about the little details if you have the set but it’s still neat hearing how they came to be.

LEGO Updates Retiring Soon List – September 2022

LEGO has updated their Retiring Soon list and there are a lot of larger sets that will be going away in the next few months. Some of the sets have been around for a few years now while some have a shorter life span. Overseas has a couple more sets listed than in North America so I would go with that just to be safe. There are also some sets that are temporarily out of stock but I’ve listed them for reference in case you find them at another retailer.
