If you receive the LEGO VIP newsletters, you may have gotten one today stating the last VIP collectible coin will be available starting on May 20 on the Rewards Center. This is the fifth one in the series and it is the centerpiece for the display case if you were able to get it.
In addition, it also states that if you missed out on the previous coins, they’ll be back later this year. There’s no mention how big the restock is but at least people will get a second chance to get the first four coins, particularly the Space one that went out of stock in only a few hours. It’s nice to see that LEGO has taken feedback to make more for those who weren’t able to get one.

LEGO has officially announced the highly anticipated LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Daily Bugle (76178). Releasing on May 26 for VIPs, the 3,772 piece set will retail for $299.99. Not only will it be the tallest LEGO Marvel set to be released, it will also have 25 minifigures including some new exclusive Marvel characters that have never been released before such as Daredevil, Punisher, Blade, Fire Star, and Black Cat. Unfortunately, LEGO wasn’t able to provide up-close images for a majority of the characters at the time of the press release but we can still see them in some of the images below. If more images come up after, I’ll update.

Today, the LEGO Group reveals the new LEGO® Daily Bugle set, an intricate version of the iconic newspaper building, complete with the demanding editor, J. Jonah Jameson’s, and Peter Parker’s offices. Designed for grown-ups, it is the tallest LEGO Marvel set to date standing at 82cm tall and featuring 3,772 pieces.
The Daily Bugle offices first featured in The Amazing Spider-Man comic series over 50 years ago in 1963 and remains a much-loved setting throughout the web-slinger’s various adventures. Workplace of Peter Parker, Ben Urich, Robbie Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson and Betty Brant, it is here that the iconic phrase of “Get me pictures of Spider-Man!” was first uttered.
The LEGO Daily Bugle is incredibly detailed both inside and out, with four floors, the front street and the back alley.

If you’ve been looking for the LEGO Botanical Collection Bonsai Tree (10281) or have been waiting for it to go back in stock, Amazon currently is selling it for retail price. The whole theme has been immensely popular since its release at the beginning of the year and has been out of stock on the LEGO Shop a lot longer than it has been in stock. Amazon will have stock available starting on May 26.

In our first review of the summer 2021 wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets, we have the smallest one in the wave with the Hogwarts Polyjuice Potion Mistake (76386). It has 217 pieces and retails for $19.99.

The LEGO FRIENDS The Apartments (10292) was announced this morning to a very positive response and included in the set are minifigures of the six main characters and a recurring character. They have worn a large number of outfits during the decade it was on the air and LEGO had the tough choice to find one outfit for each character as their minifigure print. All of them had iconic looks throughout the years and here are the outfits the minifigures are based on.

The LEGO FRIENDS The Apartments (10292) will be available for VIP members starting on May 19 and to the general public on June 1. The set has 2,048 pieces and will retail for $149.99.

Amazon has been doing coupon codes for various LEGO sets and there’s one currently going on for the LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren’s Shuttle (75256). As of this post, the set has been discounted 15% to $110.55 but you can save an additional $6.56 when you apply the coupon which essentially makes the set 20% off and that also makes it the lowest price the set has been at. The last time it was at this price for an extended period of time was during Black Friday last year. There’s been rumors going on that this set could be retiring by the end of 2021 so now is a great time to pick it up if you can.
