LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 19 (71025) Amazon Sale – October 2019

The Series 19 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71025) were just released last month but they’re already on sale over on Amazon. They are currently priced at $2.99 which is back to the old price from a few years ago. There is a limit of 30 per order but I assume you can put in as many orders as you want. Keep in mind they are totally random so you will most likely get duplicates. We usually don’t see sales on the minifigures unless they’re close to retiring so getting them at a discount this early is a good deal.

LEGO Double VIP Points Event Now Live – October 14-27

As I reported last week, there is now a Double VIP Points promotion going on for all products on LEGO Shop@Home. This promotion will run from now until October 27 so get you shopping in if you were holding off on it. This will probably be one of the last longer Double VIP Points events for the year with maybe one or two short ones during the holiday shopping season.

LEGO Gift Set (5006008) Promotion Coming Soon

It looks like there’s a new LEGO gift-with-purchase promotion that has started LEGO Brand Stores for a LEGO Gift Set (5006008). A reader by the name of Ben has sent over some pictures of the Gift Set and was told that VIPs can get it for free with purchases of $40 or more.

As an eBay Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

They were told by the Dallas Northpark Mall store that the item was supposed to be released a while back but there was a delay with the supplier but stores are now getting them and are hoping the promo will run until the end of the year. There is a product page on LEGO Shop@Home showing it is a free item that is valued at $15.99 but it isn’t live yet so the promotion may be online as well in the near future.

As for the Gift Set itself, it comes with a number of items that are used as gift items and they include a card, a couple of tags, wrapping paper, sticker sheets, and a gift bag.

LEGO Harry Potter Series 2 Collectible Minifigures Rumored for 2020

Last year, we got the LEGO Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Collectible Minifigures (71022) and it looks like we’ll be getting another wave some time next year. Rumor has it there will be another wave and this has also been corroborated by Brick Fanatics. The first wave consisted of 22 minifigures along with a “chase” minifigure but it is unknown how many will be in the second wave. It is also not specified on whether it will be just for the Harry Potter series or if Fantastic Beasts will be in it as well. Who do you want to see in the second wave if it does come out next year?

LEGO Announces New LEGO Replay Pilot Program

If you’re like me and have way too many LEGO bricks, LEGO has launched a new pilot program called LEGO Replay which allows you to donate bricks you don’t want to children’s non-profits in the US. LEGO is working with three different organizations including Give Back Box, Teach For America, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Check out the press release below.

ENFIELD, CONNECTICUT, October 8, 2019: Today, The LEGO Group announced the launch of LEGO® Replay, a pilot program that will accept any and all previously used LEGO bricks and donate them to children’s non-profits in the United States. The effort is a collaboration with Give Back Box, Teach For America, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.

The process is simple: collect any loose LEGO bricks, sets, or elements, place them into a cardboard box, and visit www.lego.com/replay to print out a free UPS shipping label. The package will be sent to the Give Back Box facility, where each brick will be sorted, inspected by hand, and given a rigorous cleaning. This process is possible because LEGO bricks are made from high-quality, durable materials, designed to be used for generations.

“We know people don’t throw away their LEGO bricks,” said Tim Brooks, Vice President, Environmental Responsibility at the LEGO Group. “The vast majority hand them down to their children or grandchildren. But others have asked us for a safe way to dispose or donate their bricks, so with Replay, they have an easy option that’s both sustainable and socially impactful.”
