LEGO Ninjago: The Adventure Continues Panel at SDCC 2025

The San Diego Comic Con 2025 programming schedule for Thursday is now live and we have our first LEGO panel which is LEGO Ninjago: The Adventure Continues. It’ll be on July 24 at 2:15pm-3:15pm in the usual Room 6BCF so it’ll be in the bigger room. The panel will consist of Vincent Tong, Kazumi Evans, Kevin Burke, Doc Wyatt, Pamela Keller, and Ryan Burns. They’ll most likely talk about the current season of the show as well as next year’s 15th anniversary celebration of the LEGO Ninjago theme. As usual, I’ll be attending and most likely doing a live tweet session over on https://x.com/tormentalous.

Come witness the red ninja action as LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising stars Vincent Tong (the voice of Kai, elemental master of fire) and Kazumi Evans (the voice of Wyldfyre, elemental master of heat) perform a new canon scene live, written by Dragons Rising head writers and fellow panelists Kevin Burke and Doc Wyatt exclusively for Comic-Con 2025. Pamela Keller and Ryan Burns (LEGO Entertainment executive producers) round out the panel to share the latest and greatest on all things NINJAGO, including next year’s 15th anniversary celebration.

The LEGO Ideas Moon Car (40789) is currently one of the items available in the LEGO Insiders Rewards Center. It has 211 pieces and requires 2,500 Insiders points to redeem. The set was one of the winning builds in the Exploring the Cosmos building contest last year and was designed by Teddy Young (EnchantingNoodle).

LEGO Confirmed for San Diego Comic Con 2025

We’re only a few weeks away from San Diego Comic Con 2025 and we can confirm that LEGO will be site again this year. The floor plan for the Exhibit Hall was published earlier today and LEGO will be in their usual #2829 booth, right in the middle of the show floor. As far as LEGO content as SDCC 2025, there’s no information yet but CCI will be releasing the programming schedule very soon. We will be on hand again this year for all four days to cover whatever LEGO content will be on hand.

LEGO Friends Live Action Musical Announced

LEGO has officially announced that there will be a live action LEGO Friends musical special releasing in 2026. Award winning director and producer Kenny Ortega has been appointed to be executive producer of the show while Paul Becker will be directing and choreography.

The LEGO Friends TV special will have a fusion of physical and digital backdrops. With the help of next generation technology specialists, Final Pixel, the show will incorporate oversized LEGO elements alongside state-of-the-art LED volume technology and real time rendering with Unreal Engine.

Filming of the LEGO Friends musical special will begin filming in London this August.

LEGO has officially revealed another LEGO Star Wars set coming in August with Wicket the Ewok (75430). The set has 1,010 pieces and will retail for $129.99 (pre-order today). The set features a brick-built version of Wicket from Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi which also comes with a spear. Also included with the set is an information plaque and a minifigure of Wicket as well.

LEGO has revealed a few new LEGO Seasonal Halloween 2025 sets that will be available starting on August 1. These sets include a new Halloween truck similar to what LEGO did with Christmas last year as well as some decorative items.
