It looks like Walmart currently has the LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322) in stock and available for purchase for retail price. The set has been extremely popular since its launch and it is on backstock status on LEGO Shop@Home with it shipping in 60 days. Thanks to David for the heads up.

LEGO is now accepting backorders for the LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322) on Shop@Home. A few days ago, I reported that various LEGO Brand Stores have them in stock and it looks like there’s a bit more inventory to shift it online again. The set will be shipping by July 30 so hurry if you’ve been waiting for it to come back.

The LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322) has been extremely popular to the point where it has been sold out on LEGO Shop@Home since its release. I’ve been told that various LEGO Brand Stores have restocked in limited quantities. I can’t say which stores have it or not because each has different restock schedules. The best way to see if your store has it is to use the “Check Store Stock” feature on the product page above and double check by calling the store. If you are going out, take precautions and stay safe.

Since LEGO Brand Stores won’t be open for at least a few more weeks, it is currently exclusive online. It is the largest LEGO Ideas sets that has been released coming in at 2,545 pieces while retailing at $199.99. I’ve already done an early review of the set which you can check out here and it is currently one of my post popular reviews to date.

LEGO has released the designer video for the upcoming LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322). Designers Sam Johnson and Austin Carlson talk about some of the details that go into the set including the minifigures as well as Easter eggs throughout the set. Sam also talks about the original LEGO Ideas project and how it became the one that you can get your hands on soon. The 2,545 piece set will be available starting on April 1 for $199.99. The reveal of the LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322) had an overwhelmingly positive response and we’ve had the set for a few days to do an early review of it. The 2,545 piece set will retail for $199.99 and will be available starting on April 1. The contents of the box include bags numbered to 15, unnumbered bags of various pieces, the thick instruction booklet, and a package for the sails.

LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322) Officially Announced

LEGO has finally officially announced the next LEGO Ideas set with the Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322). The 2,545 piece set retails for $199.99 and will be available starting on April 1.

As you can see from the box art, the design pays homage to the LEGO Pirates theme from a few decades ago. The set is definitely an upgrade from The Pirate Bay project and it also includes some of the classic Pirate minifigures as well. In addition, the shipwreck can be reassembled into a ship that is inspired by the Black Seas Barracuda (6285).
