LEGO Cloud Cuckoo Palace Unikitty Mech

News have been kind of slow lately but I did see this from my Instagram feed and it was worth mentioning since I’m into mech-type builds. What happens when you combine the cuteness of Unikitty with the menacing look of a LEGO mech suit? The end result is something that Martin Gee has created out of the Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803), Architecture Studio (21050), and the Legends of Chima Wolf Legend Beast (70127). The cuteness will destroy you!

The LEGO Movie Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803) Review

In our first official review for The LEGO Movie sets, we have the Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803). When I first saw images of this set, I was confused yet intrigued. Although the set has a lot of “girly” colors, they are so vibrant and insane that I was very interested in it. Plus the Unikitty alone is enough to make me choose to review this set first. The set contains 197 pieces and retails for $19.99 for a $0.10/piece ratio. The box contains four unnumbered bags and a small instructions booklet.

The LEGO Movie sets are now available on Shop@Home and at some major retailers and FBTB has done some awesome reviews on a majority of the sets already. I will also be doing my own reviews and giving my take as soon as I get my hands on them in the near future. I’ll be at the LEGO Store on January 1st later today in my search for all the Collectible Minifigures as well as maybe picking up a few of the movie sets. In the meantime, check out FBTB’s reviews of the sets and if you see what you like, feel free to use any of our links below to order from Shop@Home. The LEGO Movie Collectible Minifigures Series 12 & Cloud Cuckoo Palace Set Revealed

The LEGO Movie Collectible Minifigures Series 12 (71003)

Coming off the brand new trailer for The LEGO Movie, Brick Fanatics has revealed the the lineup of the Series 12 Collectible Minifigures (71004). Again, the minifigures are based on the new movie and will be available in January 2014. Looking at the image, there are some pretty cool-looking ones and looks like a winner to me, although Morgan Freeman’s character Vitruvius isn’t included *sad face*. For those who are still waiting on that Green Lantern minifigure that we reported on earlier, it looks like you’re out of luck unless he comes out in one of the future movie sets.

  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Bad Cop
  • Calamity Drone
  • Gail the Construction Worker
  • Hard Hat Emmet
  • Larry the Barista
  • Marsha Queen of the Mermaids
  • Mrs. Scratchen-Post
  • Panda Guy
  • President Business
  • Taco Tuesday Guy
  • Velma Staplebot
  • “Where are my Pants?” Guy
  • Wild West Wyldstyle
  • Wiley Fusebot
  • William Shakespeare

Speaking of sets, Yahoo Movies has revealed the second set based on The LEGO Movie, the Cloud Cuckoo Palace (70803). The set features the Uni-Kitty, voiced by Alison Brie, Emmet, Wyldstyle, and Executron. The Cloud Cuckoo Palace has the feel of a Friends set with it’s colors but that won’t deter boys from picking it up. The set will retail for $19.99 and, according to Yahoo, is one of 13 that will be available in January 2014 along with the Series 12 minifigures.
