The second wave of LEGO Dimensions expansion packs are now available today for purchase. The most anticipated one is probably the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) which includes Peter Capaldi’s 12th Doctor minifigure, the TARDIS and K-9. The Level Pack also includes the “An Adventure in Space and Time” game level.
LEGO Dimensions has revealed the different ways the TARDIS can be rebuilt into for the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204). You have the standard TARDIS but it can also be rebuilt into a Laser-Pulse TARDIS as well as the Energy-Burst TARDIS.
Also included in the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) is the 12th Doctor minifigure who you can play as in the game and if you die, you can play as all of the previous incarnations of the Doctor. Finally, K-9 will also be a playable character.
You can now pre-order the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) on Amazon it states that it will be available on September 27 but I’ve also heard reports of it being available on November 3 so I’m not sure which date is correct.

If you didn’t catch all the different Doctors in the San Diego Comic Con LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who trailer video, I’ve taken screenshots of all thirteen Doctors that is included with the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) since I got a few emails wanting close up shots of them. All twelve incarnations as well as the War Doctor are all playable characters in the game and a cool mechanic is that if you die while playing the Doctor, you’ll return as the 1st Doctor and regenerate all the way back up to the current 12th Doctor. LEGO has post the first video of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who gameplay which shows Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor in action. You also get to see some brick-built Daleks surrounding the heroes. At the end of the video, you can also see the different incarnations of all the Doctors which should give fans nerdgasms. Some other details that came out of the preview event that you may be interested in hearing about. All twelve Doctors as well as the War Doctor are playable characters but only Capaldi’s Doctor will have dialog. When you “die” while playing the Doctor, you will regenerate into the First Doctor and go through all of them until you reach the Twelfth Doctor. The interior of the TARDIS will change depending on which Doctor you’re playing as. There’s also a jukebox inside the TARDIS that allows you to change the Doctor Who theme song.

LEGO today has posted the first real-life image of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) with Peter Capaldi holding a brick-built TARDIS. We previously saw the Doctor Who Level Pack on the back of some instructions and the set will contain the Twelfth Doctor with a sonic screwdriver as well as K-9. SDCC attendees will be able to play the Doctor Who level at the Hard Rock Hotel this Thursday through Saturday. As we know by now, Peter will be making an appearance at the Doctor Who panel at SDCC and who knows, he might even show up where LEGO Dimensions is set up for guests to try out.
