“New” LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Screenshots

There are a couple of “new” LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game screenshots of some more of characters that will be in the game. Why did I put new in quotes? It’s because if you were at the LEGO Marvel panel at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con, you’ve probably already seen these shots from the character reveal and gameplay. For the individuals who didn’t get to see the panel, TT Games has released some screenshots of Wolverine, Jean Grey, Silver Samurai, and Viper. All four characters are available as playable characters. Also, don’t forget there is still time to pre-order the game from Walmart and get the Iron Patriot minifigure and the Gun Mounting System (30168). If you’re across the pond in the UK, the minifigure is available through Amazon.co.uk. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be released on October 22 here and November 15 in the UK.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Walmart Pre-order - Iron Patriot

Our friends over at Brick Fanatics is reporting that the UK will have the Iron Patriot minifigure (30168) as a pre-order bonus for purchasing the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game from Amazon.co.uk. It looks like that you can also get the Iron Patriot with the handheld versions of the game including the Playstation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo DS. The game will be available in the UK on November 15th.

If you’re here in the States, Walmart is still offering the minifigure as the pre-order bonus but it is only available for the console system versions. Over here, the game is available on October 22nd, however, I do wish that Amazon here offered the same bonus as the on in the UK.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2013 Extended Gameplay Video

Stan Lee in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game

Arthur Parsons of TT Games did an interview with GameSpot after the Marvel Video Games panel yesterday and showed off a 20 minute gameplay video of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. If you were following our live report on the game yesterday on Twitter, you would’ve seen that it was announced that Stan Lee would also be a playable character. In the extended gameplay video, you can some some of Stan’s superpowers. Since he is the almighty Stan Lee, he can pretty much have any superhero powers such as Spider-Man’s web slinging. Another of his moves is a flame torch coming from his eyes kind of like a Cyclops/Human Torch combination. It was also mentioned that he has a Mr. Fantastic move as well but it wasn’t shown. In an IGN video, Stan is shown to have an adamantium skeleton. Finally, Stan gets to “Hulk” up and turn into Stan Hulk. The body is exactly the same as the original Hulk character but he has Stan’s white hair instead. The animation of him changing back and forth is awesome. The LEGO Marvel Video Game is now available for pre-order at Walmart which includes the Iron Patriot bonus minifigure in the Gun Mounting System (30168). LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Box Art

The box art for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game has been revealed and I must say, it’s a pretty darn good looking cover. It shows a few of super heroes from the Marvel Universe including Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Spider-man, Human Torch, Thor, Fantastic Four, the Thing, Black Widow. If you look closely at the upper right corner, you can also see the Silver Surfer which we haven’t heard much about yet. If you pre-order from Walmart, you’ll get the exclusive Iron Patriot minifigure (30168) for free as a bonus.

In other Marvel news, you will be able to play LEGO Marvel Super Heroes during San Diego Comic Con 2013. The games will be set up all four days at the Marvel booth (#2329), the LEGO booth (#2829), and at the Xbox Gaming Lounge at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. If that’s not enough LEGO Marvel for you, on Saturday at 12:30pm in Room 6A, there will be a panel discussing the game in more detail and Marvel is hinting there might be “something special” for you if you come to the panel dressed in a Marvel costume.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Patriot Minifigure Already on eBay

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Patriot (30168) that was supposed to be the Walmart pre-order bonus for the video game has already shown up early on eBay. It is currently selling for $40 and ships from *ahem* Mexico. So if you can’t wait to get one and don’t want to purchase the game, now’s your chance.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes E3 Official Trailer

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is going at full force right now at Los Angeles and Warner Brothers has released the official trailer for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. We’ve seen some short gameplay footage in the past few weeks, but here we can see new footage of characters we haven’t seen before including Mr. Fantastic and Deadpool, There’s also a nice closeup of Bruce Banner turning into the Hulk which is awesome looking! Players will visit many key locations in the Marvel Universe while playing the game including Stark Tower, Asteroid M, a Hydra base, and the X-Mansion.

The game is will be released this October and will be available on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Vita, Nintendo Wii U, DS, 3DS, and PC. Just a reminder, the Iron Patriot minifigure (30168) will be a FREE pre-order bonus from Walmart for console systems only.

New LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Gameplay Footage

As we get closer to the release of the new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game, more images and videos from the developers have been released. TT Games has recently shot some new gameplay footage in the Asgard level. In the video, there are some new characters being played including Wolverine, Captain America, Thor, and Human Torch. If you remember, the first gameplay video showed Iron Man, Hulk, and Spider-Man defending Grand Central Station in New York City against the Abomination and the Sandman.

The game will feature more than 100 playable characters across the Marvel Universe with each character having their own special abilities. There are also hundreds of alternative costumes that you can unlock for the characters.

The game is now available for pre-order and if you get it from Walmart, you’ll get an Iron Patriot minifigure (30168) as a bonus. The offer is only valid on platform systems so handheld owners, you’re out of luck there. Amazon and GameStop also have pre-order bonuses but they aren’t as good the Iron Patriot minifigure.
