LEGO August 2019 Double VIP Point Sets

LEGO Technic 4x4 X-treme Off-Roader (42099)

We’re now a few days into August and I want to highlight the two LEGO Double VIP Point sets for the month. For August we have some larger sets in LEGO’s portfolio which are the LEGO Technic 4×4 X-treme Off-Roader (42099) and LEGO City Passenger Train (60197). The Off-Roader costs $249.99 and you can earn a cool 3,250 points while the Passenger Train costs $159.99 and you’ll get 2,080 points for it.

Some of the promotions that are going on include the Canvas Tote Bag with a $200 purchase and for today only, there’s the LEGO Friends Mia’s Water Fun Pack (30410) with purchases of $35 or more.

There are four themes that have them which includes LEGO Harry Potter, Star Wars, Friends, and City. There has been a new LEGO City set that was revealed a short while ago with the LEGO City Ski Resort (60203). The set contains 806 pieces and will retail for €79.99. It will be available in August 23 overseas so we’ll probably see it in September. Note that the Ski Resort is not part of the Winter Village theme.

LEGO City Space Satellite (30365) Promotion Live on Shop@Home

There a new LEGO City promotion that has started with the Space Satellite (30365) polybag. You can get it for free with purchases of $40 or more at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home, while supplies last. This is the same polybag that is currently available for purchase over at Target. To double up on this promo, there are also some LEGO City Mars Exploration sets that have Double VIP points with the Lunar Space Station (60227) and the Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control (60228). The Space Satellite polybag promotion ends on July 21.

LEGO City Summer 2019 Mars Exploration Sets Now Available

The summer 2019 LEGO City Mars Exploration sets are now available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home. There are seven sets in the wave and they are inspired by NASA’s real life technology. These sets have been available in Europe since the beginning of the month but North America had a later release. The promotion for the LEGO Ideas Space Rocket Ride (40335) is somehow still going on even after the promotional period has ended so get your orders in before it gets fixed. LEGO City Mars Exploration Satellite (30365) Polybag Found at Target

If you’re looking for the LEGO City Mars Exploration Satellite (30365) polybag, I’ve been told that they have started to show up at Target stores.
