LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Character Customizer First Look

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 NYCC 2017

The first day of New York Comic Con 2017 has started and over on the Twitch livestream of stage show, Arthur Parsons from TT Games was on hand to talk about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. The main new thing that was shown off today was the much talked about character customizer. If you’ve played LEGO games before, creating a character isn’t new as you’ve been given limited choices of what your character can look like and do. However in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, the whole system has been completely overhauled and there is a lot more you can do with it.

As shown off in the livestream, you can pretty much customize every part of the character including the head, torso, arms, legs, armor, and also the abilities the character can use. You’ll have access to more parts as you unlock characters but it looks like players will be thoroughly entertained as they play the game.

Speaking of playing the game in general, there were a few more characters that were revealed (to my knowlegdge) including Dormammu, Daredevil, Gwen Stacy, Kid Colt, Klaw, Korvac, Kraven the Hunter, Stingray, and Thor (Jane Foster). Finally at the beginning of the panel, attendees who play the game at the Marvel booth are able to get a cool poster, similar to the one that I got at SDCC but with a new design. Arthur teased that the characters featured (Thanos, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Wasp) could be included in the Season Pass which is included with the Deluxe Continue

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Inhumans Trailer

As we inch closer to the release of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 video game, TT Games has released a new Inhumans trailer for it. The trailer features a number of playable characters including Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Crystal, Triton, Lockjaw, and possibly Maximus. There a couple of notable members of the Inhumans who aren’t shown in the trailer like Karnak, Inferno, and Iso so we’ll have to wait and see if they make it into the game. The Inhumans will be already in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 as part of the main game so there’s no need for a DLC for it.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Comic Poster

Today is National Comic Book Day and another exclusive has been announced for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 video game. For pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition of the game, you also get a comic art poster of the box art along with the other exclusives such as the Season Pass, early access to the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy Character Pack, and the Giant-Man/Goliath (Hank Pym) LEGO minifigure. More than likely the poster will come folded but still a neat little item. Stay tuned as more things are revealed for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 at New York Comic Con next week.

Few More Characters Revealed for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Captain America 2099

A few more characters have been revealed for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 the past few days. The first one is Horus who we’ve seen before but now we get a clearer image of him in his outfit which is the Earth-9106 version. The other character that has been revealed for the game is Captain America 2099. This is the third character from the 2099 Marvel Universe that will be in the game joining Spider-Man 2099 and Goblin 2099. I expect there will be more 2099 characters to be in the game and hoping for Ghost Rider 2099 and Punisher 2099.

Latest LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Character Reveals

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Spectacular Spider-Ham

I’ve been slacking on this a little but there have been some more recent character reveals for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 during PAX West 2017. Some of these characters include Iron Fist, Hela, and Old West Tony Stark. What’s cool about Tony is that he has an Old West Iron Man suit that he can change into.

The latest reveal from a few days ago was the Spectacular Spider-Ham. This character could suggest that Peter Porker could be included in the game as well.

Stay tuned for EGX 2017 from September 21-24 as there could be some more character reveals there. TT Games will be doing a livestream on Sunday 9/24 at 2pm BST on Twitch so we could see some new stuff then as well.
