LEGO CUUSOO Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Achieves 10000 Supporters

The LEGO CUUSOO Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary project by BrentWaller has achieved 10000 supporters and will now move on to the Fall 2013 review. The Ghostbusters movie will be celebrating it’s 30th anniversary in 2014 and the project will feature many elements of the movie including Ecto-1 and the main characters of Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore as well as Slimer. The image does show the Firehouse but Brent doesn’t think that it will be included in the final product. With this achievement, Brent has become the second CUUSOO creator to have two or more projects to reach 10000 supporters with his Batmobile Tumbler Minifig Scale being the first project. mb_bricks was the first creator to do so. The Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary has been climbing the ranks of supporters the past few weeks and today has finally reached the ultimate goal of 10000 supporters. Congratulations to BrentWaller again for reaching the goal and if everything goes well, we’ll be seeing a Ghostbusters set in the near future and will be joining the Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine (21103) as an official LEGO CUUSOO movie set.

Congratulations on 10,000 supporters, BrentWaller!

Infinity #3

PREVIEWSworld has a couple more LEGO variant comic book covers that we haven’t seen before. Like the previous variant covers we’ve seen, they are illustrated by Marvel artist Leonel Castellani. Above shows Wolverine from the new Infinity #3 issue which pays homage to Incredible Hulk #340. Iron Man is seen battling Dr. Doom in the New Avengers #11 variant that is originally from Invincible Iron Man #150. Finally, we see Iron Man in Guardians of Galaxy #7 that is homage to Invincible Iron Man #80. These covers were created to promote the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game that comes out this October.
