Solo: A Star Wars Story First Look

A new first look at the Solo: A Star Wars Story has surfaced online and it gives us a look at some of the characters including Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, and Kira. What’s more interesting is that the second image shows the blue and white Millennium Falcon before it was modified.

As I reported a few days ago, there will be five LEGO sets coming out for the movie and rumor has it that one of them is the Millennium Falcon. The design of the Falcon is different from the ones that we’ve gotten already so it’ll be interesting to see if LEGO will be using this new design and not just changing out the colors of the old one while keeping the usual design. We’ll see in April when the Solo LEGO sets are released.

LEGO Star Wars Solo Sets Release Date Revealed

Back in October, I reported that there will be some LEGO Star Wars sets coming out that will be based on the Han Solo standalone film coming next year. It looks like there’s confirmation of a release date for the sets coming out of Rebelscum.com which states they will be available starting on April 20, 2018.

There will five system sets (75207, 75209, 75210, 75211, 75212) along with two buildable figures (75535, 75536) coming out for the wave. Rumor has it that one of the sets will be the Millennium Falcon with a blue and white paint job. We most likely won’t see images of the sets in the upcoming toy fairs but it’s possible that they may pop up on the April 2018 LEGO Store Calendar when it becomes available in March.

Rumored LEGO Sets for Solo: A Star Wars Story

A few days ago, the Han Solo standalone film, got its title of simply Solo: A Star Wars Story which was confirmed by director Ron Howard who took over for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. As with other Star Wars movies, there will be some LEGO sets to accompany the film. According to “rumors,” there will be five system sets (75207, 75209, 75210, 75211, 75212) and possibly two buildable figures (75535, 75536) that will be released in April 2018 for it. According to one of my sources, there will be a Millennium Falcon, not surprisingly, but it will don a blue and white paint job.

We’ll probably won’t see images of these sets at next year’s Nuremberg and New York Toy Fairs since LEGO usually keeps licensed under wraps. Solo: A Star Wars Story will be in theaters May 25, 2018.
