Last week, I reported that The LEGO Batman Movie Batman Battle Pod (5004929) will be coming to LEGOLAND California in the near future. There’s now a report from a reader that LEGOLAND Florida has started a promotion for the polybag as a free gift with purchases of $30 or more of The LEGO Batman Movie products. If you live close to the area, I would give them a call to confirm that the promo is going.

I would LOVE to be able to call LL to confirm their promos, prices and availability. But every phone number ultimately leads to a voicemail that no one ever checks, apparently. While I was staying at the LL hotel I even tried calling concierge to have them connect me. But still the same voicemail message is all I got. I’ve determined the only way I’ll ever know what they have is to drive my butt down there. What a pita.
You guys in Cali able to call your LL right up and get assistance?
They are there. I was there Tuesday and got two. You have to buy things in the studio shop and it’s not just batman stuff you have to buy.
Do you mean the LL CA?
Florida
Thanks

Wanna help me out? I’d love 2 and would pay for your time!
I’d be more than happy to but you would have to give me like $50 bucks for one. Between buying the 30 minimum and shipping that’s about how much it would cost. And I’m also not sure when I’ll be going again.
Can you email me?
[email protected]
I can but I also don’t have paypal or anything like it so I would not have a way for you to pay.
You can buy them for less on Bricklink. And it’s a bit duplicitous to claim the $30 minimum against the cost _unless_ you plan to turn over the purchased goods along with the GWP.
Not including shipping you can’t. There are no US sellers (currently) and shipping from the far east costs an arm and a leg every time I’ve checked.
There is one current US seller, albeit at $60. Most of the sellers are in Malaysia, but I also see a couple in Poland and one in Belgium. I’ve been getting Want List notifications on these, and I’ve also had quite a few sellers in the Czech Republic pop up, which is where the bulk of all sellers have been located.

And yes he gets the 30 bucks of stuff. In not going to gouge him
So he gets the $30 of stuff for free, or said differently: he pays $30 for the stuff and gets the BP for $20?
Or are you saying that he has to buy the $30 of stuff for an extra $30?
Does the Florida Legoland have a phone number we can call to place a mail order like Legoland CA does? If so I’d totally make a few purchases over the phone…
Like I said in the 1st comment, no they do not.
