The LEGO Batman Movie Easter Bunny Batman LED Lite

The LEGO Batman Movie Easter Bunny Batman LED Lite

If you didn’t there wasn’t enough variants of Batman to collect for The LEGO Batman Movie, there’s a new Easter Bunny Batman to get. The only downside of it is that it is not a standard size minifigure but a larger LED Lite which is now available on Amazon. There’s no word on whether this variant will become an actual minifigure but I doubt it.

What’re the odds of this or the Kiss Tuxedo Batman being the SDCC minifig.

KKT Batman isn’t likely, as an SDCC minifig or as part of a LBM2 CMF series. All CMF series minifigs have 100% new print on the minifig body parts except the German soccer players (they share leg print and front torso print), and of course several CMF prints (and even whole minifigs) have made the jump to Build-A-Minifig and/or regular sets. SDCC minifigs are pretty much the same way, though I know the Secret Wars Spiderman torso was reused for Venom.

      hopefully 0%.

Kiss Kiss Tuxedo Batman I didn’t mind too much as a keychain because I can always de-chain it and turn it into a displayable minifig. This, however…you can’t even fake it from existing elements. The only two bunny hats are white and caramel. The only matching Batman torsos are Space Batman and the new Cave Batman. Neither really works with the bunny hat.

They could easily get another CMF series just out of the batsuits we’ve seen evidence of so far. Probably two full series if they split it 50/50 between batsuits and other characters (I know there are still quite a few villains and even a few heroes that are depicted in various posters, still shots, and trailers that have never had any sort of minifig).

Forgot arctic batman from the set with freeze and aquaman. It’s a bit monochrome, gray shield and belt, but matches the white hood and arguably goes better than spacesuit batman.

Also as far as opportunities for more minifigure releases go, I’m sure there’s a spot for something in the home release of the movie.

Another batman minifig??? Really Lego -_- as if we haven’t got enough variants already.

We don’t, we need more. If you don’t want them then don’t buy them, it’s very simple.

I do like a bit of variety in terms of Batman suits but this is just going way overboard for me. I know I don’t have to buy them but I just feel like Lego could be using that variety for other Lego mini figures instead of just investing in Batman. That is just my own opinion though.

Batman is the big theme this year, it’s the mothership theme like Nexo was last year. I’m actually disappointed there aren’t more. Emmett from The LEGO Movie had slightly didn’t figures in most sets, Batman is just Batman. Batman and Super Heros in general, need to have more dramatic variations.

LEGO makes 800 sets a year, it’s not like LEGO isn’t investing in mini figures in other themes, look at Nexo Knights and NinjaGo, does of new figures all the time.

Everyone was assuming we would get a rerelease of the Easter Bunny as a promo… maybe not. Hope we get this instead.
