Late night news coming out of Deadline.com is that The LEGO Movie 2 has been pushed back to February 2, 2019. This is the second time the sequel to the highly popular movie has been pushed back with the original release date of May 26, 2017, then to May 18, 2018. There was no reason why Warner Bros. decided to move the movie back along with a couple of other ones but we still have The LEGO Batman Movie and the LEGO Ninjago movie to look forward to in 2017.

NOOOOooooOOOOoOOoOO!!!
It’s probably the LEGO actors and negotiations. It’s always the actors.Emmet made it to the big time and now is probably demanding a crazy amount of gold bricks 🙂
Do you think they will update Green Lantern’s design in the sequel, now that the have a classic costume design? I mean, the classical design is more relevant as it is newly released and not just an exclusive minifigure, plus the old suit seen in ‘The LEGO Movie ‘ is no longer valid considering its inspiration (‘Green Lantern’ movie) isn’t part of the DC Cinematic Universe anymore…
