Toys R Us has updated their in-store events page and there will be an event for The LEGO Ninjago Movie in a few weeks. On Saturday September 23 12-2pm, kids can build a Mini Ninja Training Temple and take home with them. Alongside that, there will also be some sort of ninja training activity and if they complete that, they can also get a free Ninjago headband.
Toys R Us is taking reservations for the event but you can also just show up and build. If you’re worried that your location is popular and may run out, then you can register just in case.
Thanks to everyone that emailed in about it.

Ooh, I’m gonna go!
Ugh. So, not only do we have opening weekend of The LEGO Ninjago Movie to compete with for the inaugural Brickworld Michigan, but now we have a related TRU build event right smack in the middle of Saturday? At least the movie opens a day earlier, plays all day long, and people can always hit the movie one day and BWM the other, but short of people rushing over right after TRU, this could seriously cut into Saturday attendance.
