From now until November 10, full registration for the event is $78 which includes special event opening ceremonies, a brick badge, goodie bag, display space for your LEGO creations, and more.

From the looks of it, I will be attending again next year and it will be my fifth year attending in total. Just an insider tip if you’ve never been, there’s lots of activities there that is well worth the registration price and the event creators go out of their way to accommodate you.

LEGO has officially announced the results of the lawsuit against LEPIN in China. The Chinese courts have ruled in favor of The LEGO Group against four companies who infringed on multiple copyrights. According to the press release, the four companies, Shantou Meizhi Model Co., et al, are accountable for copying artwork for 18 LEGO sets and minifigures as well as using unfair competition acts. The court ordered, among other things, that the four defendants shall immediately cease producing, selling, exhibiting or in any way promoting the infringing products, and shall pay the LEGO Group approximately RMB 4.5 million as damages.

Niels B. Christiansen, Chief Executive Officer of the LEGO Group said:
